Thundurus + Special Raid Weekends March 2020
Use Ice and Rock-types like Terrakion, Jynx, and either Golem to take on Thundurus who debuts in 5* Raids this month.
March also features a new Legendary Raid boss each weekend.
Darkrai is weak to Fighting, Bug, and Fairy-type damage, like that from Togekiss, Toxicroak, Heracross, Granbull, and Pinsir.
Giratina is weak to Dragon, Dark, Ice, Fairy, and Ghost-type damage, like that from Banette, Absol, and Houndoom.
Cobalion is weak to Fighting, Fire, and Ground-type damage, like that from Flareon, Typhlosion, and Toxicroak.
Lugia is weak to a lot. Lugia takes Super Effective damage from Rock, Ghost, Dark,, Electric, and Ice-types, like Terrakion, Luxray, Banette, Absol, and Houndoom.
Heatran January 2020
Heatran is a Fire/Steel type, both of which are weak to Ground. It's definitely time to dust off your Ground type attackers and bury the lava dome Pokemon before it leaves us once again!
Virizion December 2019
Virizion is the Sword of Justice that's got a double weakness to Flying-types, so take some of those long with you for the fight!

This year, Halloween brings the Pitch Black Pokemon, Darkrai, out of the shadows. Being a pure Dark Type, you'll want to use Fighting, Bug, and Fairy Types to pull Darkrai out of the shadows and into your box.

Giratina - Altered Forme once again leaves the Distortion World in order to terrify the raid scene with its otherworldly presence. Being a Ghost/Dragon type, Dark, Dragon, Ghost, Fairy, and Ice types are particularly effective in putting this reality-altering force down for the count.

Rayquaza is the raid boss with is shiny form available until September 2nd! As a Flying and Dragon-type, Ice-type Pokemon are going to be your bread & butter. The 4x weakness is too large to ignore and brings even otherwise mediocre Ice-types to the foreground of counters. Any Ice-types on the tier list will be the ideal choice, but these Pokemon can still help out in a pinch.

Armored Mewtwo has arrived into Raid Battles and it's a sight to behold! This fancy half-machine Pokemon form has a pretty low Attack stat, but a high Defense stat with some nice charge moves for PvP. Players who want to fight in the Ultra or Master League want to keep their eyes out for this raid. Beware Dynamic Punch if you're using any Dark-types to take down this Psychic-type Pokemon.

Cresselia reawakens in raid battles to start off June’s legendary returns. Don’t adjust your battle parties! The Lunar Pokemon is a Psychic-type, making it weak to the same types highlighted last month; Ghost, Dark, and Bug. Deoxys (Defense Forme) in EX raids shares the same weaknesses, so these attackers remain excellent choices for Stardust and Rare Candy.
Flavor of the Month - May 2019
The lake guardians are appearing in regional raids across the globe this month. Uxie will be available in the Asia-Pacific region. Mesprit will be available in Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Azelf will be available in the Americas and Greenland. All three (plus Deoxys in EX raids) are pure Psychic-type, weak to Ghost, Dark, and Bug-type attackers.
