---|---|---|---|---|
As a ranged flier, Yune’s weapon prioritizes both her Resistance and her Attack.
Assets
- +ATK: Yune’s attack is 33, making it somewhat on the low side. It’s worthwhile to increase her Attack, particularly since her prf will allow her to double attack regardless of her Speed.
- +RES: Yune’s Resistance is already incredibly high at 37, making it 40 with her weapon. Still, as her additional effects proc off of having 3 more Resistance than her opponents, increasing it even further is recommended so that she can stomp on heavily merged units and units with Resistance Assets.
Neutral
- HP: Yune wants all the HP she can get due to her lower Defense- this will help her to tank through a single physical threat, or it will help her tank through a magical retaliation to her attacks.
- SPD: While it seems too low to be salvaged, Yune’s Speed is actually at a decent place to force doubles against armors who utilize Wary Fighter. If not using her against armor units, feel free to take Speed as a Flaw.
Flaws
-
-DEF: Yune’s Defense is already incredibly poor. Although it is a +4 Asset, it’s mostly not worth investing in, as she’ll likely be one-shot by a retaliatory hit regardless.

Yune prefers Attack above all else to increase her damage potential, though increasing her Resistance also helps land her debuffs. Because this set utilizes Mystic Boost, she doesn’t have to worry about dragons retaliating to her lower Defense stat and therefore wants to take it as a Flaw.
Weapon: Chaos Manifest
- Chaos Manifest firstly grants Yune additional Resistance, bringing her total neutral Resistance up to 40.
- This also allows her to force doubles by granting her a followup attack if her opponent is suffering from a debuff. Forcing doubles via Chaos Named is very important for her due to her low Speed.
- Finally, this also grants her an additional +6 to her Attack, making her attacks even more powerful.
Assist: Reposition / Draw Back
Special: Iceberg
- Due to her insanely high Resistance, Iceberg will proc for a minimum of 20 additional damage.
- When paired with Heavy Blade in her Seal Slot, Yune can activate Iceberg in a single round of combat, granting her immense OHKO potential
Passive A: Death Blow / Close Counter
- Death Blow solidifies Yune’s Player Phase domination by granting her an additional 8 Attack on initiation.
- When combined with her +6 Attack from her weapon and an Attack asset, this grants her a total of 64 effective Attack before any sort of buff or debuff takes place.
- Alternatively, Yune could take Close Counter, which allows her to be played in a more defensive role. This, coupled with Mystic Boost in her B slot, helps her to take on dragon foes in whatever phase they’re weakest in.
Passive B: Mystic Boost
- Mystic Boost works very well as a B slot for Yune as it allows her to attack into dragon units without them retaliating onto her lower Defense
- Forcing dragon type units to attack into her monstrous 40 Resistance means that she’d be taking almost no damage from them
- This also gives her the added benefit of being able to effortlessly shrug off attacks from staff units.
Passive C: Chaos Named
- Chaos Named is Yune’s unique C slot skill, and when she utilizes the debuffs from it, she can activate her Chaos Manifest to force double attacks.
- This will also help her to do more damage (if it targets Resistance) or proc Heavy Blade (if it targets Attack).
- This skill is also great at supporting her allies through their own combat, as the range on it takes up a huge portion of the map.
Sacred Seal: Heavy Blade / Res Ploy
- Heavy Blade is the seal that allows Yune to activate her Iceberg in one turn if she attacks an opponent who can counter her.
- If she’s going for a more generalist/anti-dragon build with Close Counter in her A slot, Res Ploy would also be effective at helping her to do more damage without needing to meet the requirements (or take up the B slot) of Sabotage Res. However, Res Ploy can sometimes overlap with Chaos Named.

IVs | S | Brazen Atk/Res 3 |
Preferred IV: +ATK or +RES / -SPD or -HP
Weapon: Chaos Manifest
Assist: Reposition
Special: Iceberg / Glacies
- Since she’s not running Heavy Blade, the Special is more user preference, as Yune will not be able to activate either of them in a single round of combat. However, the damage potential of using a Resistance-based Special is too good to pass up.
- At neutral Resistance, Glacies will strike for 32 additional damage.
Passive A: Sturdy Impact / Death Blow
- With the lack of Mystic Boost in her B slot, Yune finds herself exceptionally vulnerable to units with Distant Counter, dragons, and physical ranged units.
- Adding the Defense bonus of Sturdy Impact helps to mitigate this, as the additional +10 Defense raises her neutral Defense to 25. This means that an opponent would need an Attack of 63 to kill her in one hit- and if they can’t kill her, she will easily be knocked into Desperation range.
- This also adds an extra +6 Attack to her initiations, giving her 62 Attack.
Passive B: Desperation
- Desperation synergizes well with her weapon and C slot, while also protecting her from enemies who could attack into her vulnerable Defense.
- Since she forces doubles through Chaos Manifest, Yune can almost always attack her opponents twice before they can retaliate onto her, once Desperation is active.
Passive C: Chaos Named
Sacred Seal: Brazen Atk/Res
- Since this set focuses on knocking Yune into Desperation range, Brazen Atk/Res grants her even more power after her HP has already gone down.
- This totals in her attacking with 69 Attack while increasing her Resistance to 47 (24 damage Iceberg, 38 damage Glacies)
Introduction
As our first Dark-type mythic hero, Yune is both cute and exceptionally deadly in the player’s hands. Her playstyle is generally to use her massive Resistance stat to debuff her opponent before attacking with Chaos Manifest, which grants her a follow-up attack to do additional damage.
Unfortunately, she’s held back a little by her low Defense, which she has to make up for in her various builds- she can do this by running Mystic Boost, Desperation, or even a skill like Vantage. This, coupled with the strict inheritance limitation of being both a tome unit and a flier unit, limits her options somewhat.
Still, when played the right way, she’s capable of bringing the pain and can absolutely solo maps by herself- it just requires a little finesse (and a bit of Skill Inheritance) to get her there.
Strengths
Range
Yune has fantastic reach as a tome flier and can attack units over maps or from the safety of mountains.
This also helps her when trying to land her debuffs. She can maneuver around tough-to-access areas in many maps, which helps her to land Chaos Named against multiple opponents at once.
Forcing Follow-Ups
Forcing follow-up attacks with Chaos Manifest is a great way for her to negate her lower Speed and instead prioritize improving her Attack. Because of this, she can get a lot of mileage out of skills like Death Blow or Sturdy Impact.
Weaknesses
Physical Defense
Unfortunately, her low physical defense is easy to take advantage of, and she will likely die if an archer even thinks to look at her. This is something that summoners must take into consideration when trying to utilize her against units like daggers, dragons, or units with Distant Counter.
Inheritance
Being both a tome user and a flier, Yune is very limited in her inheritance options. She cannot learn game-breaking skills like Special Spiral and can’t utilize Chaos Manifest to refresh her via Galeforce. This lowers the cap on her potential and forces her to work with less ideal skills for her typing and playstyle.

A Alternatives: Death Blow 3/4, ATK/X Solo.
Seal Options: Preference (Phantom SPD if you do not feel comfortable with her default SPD or team support does not let her breach better SPD).
The main catch of this build is the fact that Windsweep Yune can double any Distant Counter melee enemies and fully prevent them from counterattacking thanks to Chaos Manifest guaranteed follow-up (which is rather easy to make happen thanks to her C).
This allows her to work around one of her biggest weaknesses almost completely and become a very obnoxious threat to deal with.
That's not all however, she can also engage daggers and bows without fearing retaliation, this is exceptionally important given she would otherwise fear trying to face archers she can't oneshot or units that target her DEF, being by far the lowest stat she has.
Still, this build relies partially on team support if you want more SPD in order to reliably proc Windsweep, though as is she should not have much issues doing so to begin with (especially if running Phantom SPD seal and/or her C happens to debuff SPD).
A similar thing can be done with Watersweep as well, if you wish to deal with DC dragons, but Windsweep covers a far bigger range of units that she wants to get around from.

Yune the ultimate res tank (merged +1)
With fury and mystic boost, she gets a nice addition to her attack and already stellar base res, and with fortress res seal, brings it up to a whopping 52 total at base. You may be wondering, “Is that high of a res stat really necessary?” Yes. Yes it is.
Pairing her monsterous res stat with Chaos Named, she can reliably debuff a gigantic portion of the map, and not even super high merged res tanks like Winter Fae and Deirdre could escape this ability.
With mystic boost and base 52 res, Yune can safely initiate on any dragon unit and come away mostly unscathed. Aside from defense scaling specials, even most red dragons won’t leave a big dent in her hp.
Iceberg is preferred over glacies purely for uptime. Even with her ability to force doubles, iceberg is way better at consistently activating.

Expensive but great build for Yune. After one turn (or two, depending on how much shes merged) with fury 4, she will have the Brazen seal activated for even more crazy stats. Fury also helps with activating her B and C skill more reliably. An attack or res boon both work well on her.
The Hardy Bearing seal could also be considered to counter desperation users if you don't want to go the brazen seal route.
