In the old days, gods didn't have a physical form. The range of their powers was infinite, and they were always with humans no matter where they might travel. If a god can be seen, resides in a specific location, and has a specifically named ability, that god would be a new type of god native to other lands... In other words, from Suwako's perspective, Kanako is like a transfer student who moved from the big city to Suwako's hometown. They later became best friends and currently have a friendly rivalry with each other, so perhaps Suwako ceding the official title of god of Moriya Shrine to Kanako was the best decision she could have made under the circumstances.

Character Analysis
Suwako Moriya (Moriya’s Unofficial Tiny God) was released on April 5th 2024 on Prayer “Froggy God of Steel and Stone Ultra Festival”. For more up-to-date analysis, be sure to visit the Official Discord Server.
They say that big things come in small packages, and that very much applies to this version of Suwako Moriya! This relatively small(er) version of the Native Moriya Shrine God from a world of iron and steam exuberates many similar qualities to other versions of herself, but seems to find herself getting lost more often, like when it comes to searching for her universe’s Sanae! As for putting a stop to this multiversal incident, can this Unofficial Tiny God go full steam ahead with a determination as ironclad as her realm?
W2 Suwako Moriya is a Debuff-Class Friend who can curse her enemies with debuffs via Yang DEF and CRIT DEF, frog leaps in with a little support via Spirit Power, Accuracy, Yang DEF and CRIT ATK and can inflict and break Blind anomalies on her enemies.
As a Debuffer
- Yang DEF debuffs from Skill 3 and various bullet lines in her Spread Shot, Spell Cards and Last Word
- CRIT DEF debuff in Skill 2.
- Evasion debuffs from Spell Card 2’s Pre-ATK as well as bullet lines from Spread Shot and Last Word.
- CRIT Evasion debuff in Last Word Pre-ATK.
- Accuracy debuff in Skill 2.
As an Attacker / Supporter
- Has a decent 1800 Yang ATK stat.
- W2 Suwako’s bullet line damage increases by 15% when hitting both/either effective or resisted elements.
- Increases the Spirit Power of both herself and her allies. Skill 1 gives W2 Suwako 1.50 Spirit Power, whereas Skill 3 and Spell Card 1’s Post-ATK gives the team 1.00 and 0.80 of it respectively.
- Team Yang ATK buff via Skill 3.
- Accuracy buffs for the team with both Spell Card Pre-ATKs, as well as selfish Accuracy buffs from bullet lines in her Spell Card 1 and Focus Shot.
- Team Yang DEF buffs from Pre-ATKs of Spell Card 1 and Last Word, as well as selfish buffs from bullet lines in both Spell Cards and Last Word.
- CRIT Accuracy buffing for the team when Grazing.
- Takes advantage of Yang DEF thanks to Hard Scaling, with 2 of these lines having a 100% and 120% Scaling conversion in her Last Word.
- W2 Suwako’s Killers include Human, Youkai Mountain, Religious, Spirit, Shrine Maiden, Beast, Beast Youkai, Fairy, Kaiju, Flower and Bird
As a Utility / Breaker
- Has a lot of Water breaks in her kit, such as in her Spread Shot and Spell Card 1 being fully Water. Also appears 4 times in her Focus Shot, and 2 times in her Last Word. As for other elements, Metal appears in her Last Word only, and Spell Card 2 has a mix of Wood and Earth.
- W2 Suwako gains a stage of Yang DEF, Yin DEF, CRIT DEF and CRIT Evasion per Poison/Blind infliction. Barring her Last Word, all attacks have a bullet line that can grant her a Blind anomaly inflction.
- W2 Suwako can also inflict/break Blind anomalies on all enemies too, with inflictions coming from Skill 1 (3 layers), Spell Card 2 (2 layers) and Last Word (3 layers). Also has a passive that inflicts an enemy with this anomaly every turn. Blind breaks are achieved via All-Targeting Spell Card 2 (2P) and All-Targeting Last Word (3P).
- Takes 40% less damage from Gods thanks to her Passive 1.
- Heals the team’s HP by 40% with Skill 2.
Story Card Recommendations
(Card recommendations last updated on April 04, 2024)
Spell Card
With an already decent amount of buffs in place like Yang ATK, Accuracy, Yang DEF and even some CRIT ATK as well as Spirit Power boosting, it is not a bad idea to double down on the above. Team Spirit Power options such as Divine Spirit Tajikarao and Myouren Temple Anniversary, as well as individual Spirit Power boosting cards like The Witch of Scarlet Dreams and Dancer in the Puddle. For Yang ATK options, there are cards like Nameless Adventurers (team), Resort Stars (solo) and Ordinary Magician (solo), CRIT ATK options include Divine Spirit Tajikarao (team), At the Usual Cafe Terrace (solo), and Ordinary Magician (solo).
If you want to double down on W2 Suwako’s debuffing capabilities, there are Yang DEF debuffing options like Lunar Capital Stasis Plan, Beach Sanshoku Geidontei and Tropical Netherworld Sushi. As for CRIT DEF DOWN options, Little Laplace’s Demon is probably the best of the lot in this field.
Finally, if you’re looking for the best picks for Spell Card damage, Spell Card 1 benefits from Water element/Liquid bullet boosting Story Cards like Two Girl Rock Band, Beach Sanshoku Geidontei, Tropico-Fantasia, Lunar Capital Stasis Plan, Resort Stars, Tropical Netherworld Sushi and Divergent Spirits EX. As for Spell Card 2 options, the best bets are Earth element/Laser bullet options like At the Usual Cafe Terrace, Idola-Deus and Little Sister and Sweets.
For more similar Story Card options to the above, you can go over to the Story Card Info Page.
Last Word
With a Last Word which consists of a Normal Bullet Type, the card that is head and shoulders above the rest is Nameless Adventurers. However, other decent options would be cards that boost Metal, although Two Girl Rock Band is able to boost both Water and Metal, which both make up all six bullet lines. As for 50% Metal options, we have Break Time in Yomi, Disillusion, and It’s Just Like I Heard (which could potentially have other beneficial effects depending on luck in its drops).
Character Skill Level Up Recommendations
The best Skill to level up first here is the third one, being Iron Bells. The mix of team Spirit Power, team Yang ATK and Yang DEF debuffing on enemies makes this a very invaluable Skill. Next up will be the first one, which is Limonite, making sure W2 Suwako gets over 3.00 Spirit Power from the above two Skills together, as well as being able to inflict another Blind anomaly. And last up is the middle one, Iron Ring. The main effect here is the additional stage of CRIT DEF debuffing.
Character Strengths
Small Suwako’s Support
Moriya’s Unofficial Supportive God? Despite her role as a Debuffer, W2 Suwako wants a piece of W2 Kanako’s Supportive capabilities, as shown with her Spirit Power support for the team backed up by Accuracy, Yang DEF and even some bits of Yang ATK and CRIT Accuracy. If her debuffing counts as support, while not a lot, there are some helpful means of it, mainly in her Yang DEF and CRIT DEF debuffs.
Steel, Stone and Smokescreen
Having a Friend who can be relied on for Blind anomaly inflicting and breaking on multiple enemies like W2 Suwako has its benefits. Thanks to a mix of factors such as Skill 1 (3 Layers), Spell Card 2 (2 Layers), Last Word (3 Layers) and a Passive anomaly infliction on an enemy every turn, W2 Suwako is capable of instantly anomaly breaking at least 5 Blind anomalies on multiple enemies. Could be 6 when combining her Last Word and Skill 1 or depending on her Passive, maybe the lucky 7 on a specific enemy.
Character Weaknesses
Not-So-Faithful Froggy Debuffer?
While her Supportive and Debuffing capabilities were mentioned above, W2 Suwako doesn’t do a whole lot of debuffing oddly enough. She can help with Yang DEF and CRIT DEF debuffs as well as a few extras located in her kit, but ones like Accuracy debuffs won’t see much use. This is a bit of an issue considering W2 Suwako’s very limited debuffs in her kit, and while Story Cards like Lunar Capital Stasis Plan can remedy this in some aspects, it doesn’t change the fact that this Tiny God has a bit of an identity crisis…
Cursed Damage Drawbacks
W2 Suwako’s damage potential in her attacks aren’t the worst in the world, but unfortunately it can be held back in a few ways. Her pool of Killers including Human, Beast, Youkai Mountain and more are somewhat serviceable in the grand scheme of things, but having poor Hard Scaling (her Last Word only has 2 lines of it), only a 15% boost in damage on resisted/effective bullets which doesn’t feel as impressive as with previous Ultra Festival Friends, and a Last Word Bullet Type being Normal that very commonly has to come to terms with a rule in VS Divergent Spirits weakening its power…let’s just say that our faith in W2 Suwako has really been tested, to say the least.
