It turns out that Abhassara, the Buddhist Realm of Streaming Radiance, acts as one such heavenly dam containing a planet's worth of water. However, it's hard to believe that the Water Web of Heaven and Earth can open these floodgates or that Tenshi has the authority to do so.

Character Analysis
Tenshi Hinanawi (Scarlet) was released on December 15th 2023 on "Festival Prayer: Celestial of the Scarlet Sky." For more up-to-date analysis, be sure to visit the Official Discord Server.
Descending from the heavenly clouds comes the Eldest Daughter we all know as Tenshi Hinanawi, who initially wanted to cause a ruckus in Gensokyo but the impact of this world’s Scarlet Mist Incident is too great to look past. Her choice of weaponry has also changed from the Sword of Hisou, since that was unable to be obtained, but this wielder of the Water Web of Heaven and Earth is not to be underestimated all the same! Will this Celestial be able to come down to earth and cooperate when seeking the Scarlet Mist’s mastermind?
A6 Tenshi Hinanawi is an Attack-Class Friend with the heavenly gifts of a strong Killer range, great Hard Scaling, Freeze anomaly inflicting and breaking and solid self-sufficiency.
As an Attacker / Supporter / Debuffer
- Spirit Power buffs from Skill 3 (1.75), both Spell Cards’ Post-ATKs (1.30).
- A6 Tenshi’s elements with bullet lines effective on said enemies deal 33% more damage.
- Yin ATK buffs for the party via Boosting.
- Yin DEF debuffs on enemies via Focus Shot bullet lines, Spell Card 2 Pre-ATK and a Last Word bullet line.
- Yin DEF buffs for the team and for A6 Tenshi herself. Team buffs include Skill 1, with selfish buffs via Skill 2 and some bullet lines on Spread Shot and Spell Card 2.
- CRIT ATK buffs for herself via Last Word Pre-ATK as well as a team buff with Skill 3 and Spell Card 2’s Pre-ATK.
- CRIT DEF debuff on Skill 1 and Spell Card 1 Pre-ATK.
- Accuracy buff for herself on Skill 3.
- Hard Scaling in A6 Tenshi’s kit, including 133% on Last Word and both Spell Cards’ first bullet lines.
- Killers include Gensokyo, Shrine Maiden, Magician, Maid, Vampire, Half Human Half Phantom, Ghost, Sage, Oni, Moon Rabbit, Tengu and Shinigami (Non-Gensokyo Killers cover the whole cast of Touhou 10.5 barring Iku and Tenshi!)
As a Utility / Breaker
- Elements include Earth, Water, Metal, Wood and Fire. Some Fire and Wood bullets appear slightly on Spread and Focus Shot respectively, a good chunk of Earth bullets across both Spell Cards, Water bullets scattered across her entire kit and Metal bullets dominating her Last Word.
- A6 Tenshi will gain Yin DEF, Yang DEF, CRIT DEF and CRIT Evasion when inflicted with Freeze anomalies. She can inflict herself with these anomalies via Skill 2 and multiple bullet lines on her Spell Cards and Last Word.
- Inflicts Freeze anomalies on enemies also via Skill 2, Spell Card 1 Pre-ATK and some various bullet lines. These are broken through Solo-Targeting Focus Shot (2P), All-Targeting Spell Card 1 (3P) (The Freeze break occurs after the Freeze inflicts in this Spell Card) and her All-Targeting Last Word (3P).
- Gains 4 Barriers for herself via Last Word Pre-ATK.
- Removes 2 Binds/Stat debuffs on herself via Last Word Pre-ATK.
Story Card Recommendations
(Card recommendations last updated on December 14, 2023)
Spell Card
Since the biggest gap in A6 Tenshi’s kit is her limited Yin ATK buffs, that can easily be the main focus here. Whether it’s to increase their turn duration or to provide a larger buff, either works well for this Celestial. If that is covered though, A6 Tenshi isn’t too desperate for many other buffs (CRIT ATK and Yin DEF may be optional) but a little extra Spirit Power never hurts, whether it’s for the team or for just herself. If all the buffs are accounted for and you are ready to go all out in damage, Liquid Bullet Boosting Cards or Earth Element Boosting Cards will cover just that.

Last Word
Infinity Garden
Red Hot Polaris
Night-Splitting Light
Little Sister and Sweets
Anniversary at the SDM
Disillusion
Two Girl Rock Band
A6 Tenshi has a Laser-Focused Last Word with most of the elements being Metal. The best options here are 50% Laser boosting options like Infinity Garden, Red Hot Polaris and Night-Splitting Light, with the first of these options having an advantage due to its Yin Stat sticks. Other Laser options include Little Sister and Sweets and Anniversary at the SDM. However, if you want to try Metal-Boosting options instead, there is Disillusion and Two Girl Rock Band, both boosting Metal by 50%.
Character Skill Level Up Recommendations
To break the ice, the first Skill to level up is the last one, Sluice Gate. This benefits A6 Tenshi by buffing her Accuracy, CRIT ATK and increases her Spirit Power. Next up is optional but because of the helpful Freeze anomalies to break, we will go with Supercooled Currents, which also gives A6 Tenshi more Freeze anomalies on herself as well as more Yin DEF buffs. Last up will be the first Skill, Whiteout, buffing the team’s Yin DEF and debuffing the CRIT DEF of all enemies.
Character Strengths
Killer Catastrophe in Bhava-Agra ~ Wonderful Power
A6 Tenshi is what one would expect from an Attack-Class Friend. Her Killer range is impressive with Gensokyo Killer as the highlighted Killer, her CRIT ATK buffs are vast with some extending to the party a 33% increase in bullet line power if said bullet line(s) can connect with any target’s weaknesses, great Hard Scaling supported by Yin DEF buffs, and some Yin DEF and CRIT DEF debuffs to soften up enemies for them to be dealt more damage. A6 Tenshi will not disappoint when it comes to pure damage.
Ice Breaker from Above
The Water Web wielder likes her Freeze anomalies, whether it’s onto herself (adding to Yin DEF buffs above) or to enemies, which through Skill 2, Spell Card 1 Pre-ATK and various bullet lines (including the same Spell Card). While her Spell Card 1’s Pre-ATK doesn’t seem impressive with just 1 Freeze anomaly in all targets, there are more in her bullet lines to back this up just before the Freeze break is triggered. This takes us to her break potential, with her Spell Card 1 and Last Word breaking Freeze enemies of all enemies at 3P, while her Focus Shot doing the same to a single enemy at 2P. With Skill 2 inflicting 3 layers of Freeze on all enemies, Spell Card 1’s Pre-ATK adding 1 layer to that, and 2 bullet lines inflicting Freeze on all enemies before the break is triggered, 6 Freeze anomaly breaks are possible assuming A6 Tenshi is at 3P when it comes to Spell Card 1.
Selfish Self-Sufficient Celestial
Looking at her kit, A6 Tenshi is more than capable of fending for herself, whether it’s from the vast buffs in Yin DEF and CRIT ATK, or the Spirit Power increases from her Skill 3 and both Spell Card Post-ATKs. With the Spirit Power buffs in question going hand in hand with her Yin ATK buffs when Boosting, A6 Tenshi will have no issues recharging, and she also doesn’t struggle with Accuracy buffs as Skill 3 covers that for her.
Character Weaknesses
Limited Yin ATK Buffs
Barring the Yin ATK gained from Boosting as well as the Yin DEF buffs achieved through means such as Spell Card 2 Pre-ATK, A6 Tenshi sadly struggles with keeping her Yin ATK intact. Without Story Cards or external support, she has a bit of a difficult time with keeping up her Yin ATK, although her handy Spirit Power gain makes her likely to boost more often, thus buffing Yin ATK more at least for that turn.
