Character Analysis
Hata no Kokoro (Pseudo-Servant: Teireita) was released on January 11th 2024 on "Ultra Festival Prayer: Poker-Faced Play." For more up-to-date analysis, be sure to visit the Official Discord Server.
Entering the stage with that familiar expressive poker face, this version of Hata no Kokoro is ready to play from behind closed doors! As one of two counterparts to the pair of Pseudo Shikigami, the menreiki that was selected by Teireita, an ancestral god alongside Nishita looks to do her best to bring out her inner Mai! She hopes that alongside an accompanying dancing devil, she can both perform excellently under Okina Matara’s wing, and on stage! How will this version of Hata no Kokoro alongside Teireita dance their way to help resolving the Lost Word incident?
Lr Hata no Kokoro is a Destroy-Class Friend with helpful buffs and utility for both herself and the team, breaks via Star element and Blind anomalies and solid CRIT damage potential.
As an Attacker / Supporter / Debuffer
- Solid 1875 Yin ATK stat.
- Multiple ways to gain Spirit Power, both for herself and for allies. Selfish buffs achieved via Skill 3 (1.20) and party buffs with Skill 2 (0.80), Spell Card 1 Post-ATK (0.75) and Last Word Post-ATK (2.00). Can reach 3.00 Spirit Power with Skills 2 and 3 too.
- Yin ATK buffs for the team via Skills 1 and 3.
- Yin DEF debuffs on an enemy via Spell Card 2 Pre-ATK and on a Spread Shot bullet line.
- CRIT ATK buffs for the party when Grazing, Skill 3 and Last Word Pre-ATK.
- Team CRIT Accuracy buffs through Skill 1 and Last Word Pre-ATK.
- CRIT Evasion debuff on a target with Spell Card 2’s Pre-ATK and a CRIT DEF debuff on some Spread Shot bullet lines.
- Accuracy buffs via various bullet lines in Lr Kokoro’s kit.
- Agility buffs for the team on Last Word Pre-ATK.
- The above Agility buff can go towards Slice Scaling, which she has some 115% Scaling lines in her Last Word.
- Lr Kokoro’s Killers include God, Human, Parallel Presence, Religious, Shrine Maiden, Monk and Hermit.
- Has Explosive bullets in her Spell Card 1 and Last Word that are more likely to CRIT if the enemy’s DEF stats are buffed.
As a Utility / Breaker
- Elements that Lr Kokoro has include mainly Star appearing in some form on all of her attacks, sometimes being the majority of bullet lines, such as in her Last Word or Spell Card 2. Also appearing to a lesser extent are 2 elements, one of them being Wood appearing on Spell Card 1, Spread Shot and only once in her Last Word, with the other element being Water, also appearing once in her Last Word but also in Spell Card 2 and her Focus Shot.
- Lr Kokoro is also able to gain a stage of Yang ATK, Yin ATK, CRIT ATK and CRIT Accuracy for every layer of Blind or Poison inflicted on herself. This is achieved by various bullet lines in Lr Kokoro’s kit, including both Spread and Focus Shot, Spell Card 1 and Last Word.
- Can also inflict and break Blind anomalies, with inflictions via Skill 1, All-Targeting Focus Shot bullet lines and Spell Card 1 Pre-ATK. Breaks are achieved through All-Targeting Focus Shot (3P), All-Targeting Spell Card 1 (2P), Solo-Targeting Spell Card 2 (1P) and All-Targeting Last Word (3P).
- Can dispel 2 of her own Binds/Stat Debuffs with Skill 2, and can dispel 1 of these for the party with Spell Card 1 Post-ATK.
- Grants the team 2 Barriers after using Spell Card 2 Post-ATK.
- Takes 30% less damage from Sun, Wood and Metal elements as per her Ability.
Story Card Recommendations
(Card recommendations last updated on January 11, 2024)
Spell Card
The main issue plaguing Lr Kokoro’s kit is how she goes about her Accuracy buffs, so any way to secure them will help her, and the Accuracy buffs in her bullet lines will not only further boost her Accuracy beyond these kinds of Story Cards but also keep them lasting longer. Other kinds of Story Cards worth considering would be ones buffing Agility, or to double down on the handy Yin ATK, CRIT ATK, CRIT Accuracy and Spirit Power already present. Another option is to go for more methods of team support, but if you wish to use your Spell Cards for pure damage, you can also do just that with Story Cards that boost Ofuda bullets and/orStar elements for Spell Card 2, or Laser bullets and/or Wood elements for Spell Card 1.

Not only does Lr Kokoro have a Last Word with Slash bullets, but 4 out of 6 of them have Star! This means that the most Perfect and Elegant option of them all is The Moon and Izayoi, for its 50% Slash and 40% Star boost! Other strong Slash subordinates would go to Mysterious Sword Master (50%), Break Time in Yomi (50%) and Disillusion (45%), should the top option not be available, or in Mysterious Sword Master’s case, if Lr Kokoro needs a quick burst in Accuracy.
As for boosting those Star bullets, you could also look to 50% Star boost options such as Secret Sealing Club Girls also coming with an Evasion debuff on all enemies should Accuracy be an issue. Other Star options include Incident Shrine, Night-Splitting Light and I’m Alright!, all being solid picks in their own rights.
Lastly, for very situational and niche options would be for Temna Mountain Starfall, Dancers Take the Stage! and Cleaning as they can boost Slash/Star bullets decently (not 50% though) with additional effects, such as Tenma Mountain Starfall’s team Yin ATK, both Spirit Power increases for the team and enemy CRIT Evasion debuffing from Dancers Take the Stage! and in the nichest of niches comes a CRIT DEF debuff from Cleaning.
That said, for raw damage, The Moon and Izayoi is Lr Kokoro’s best friend, with Mysterious Sword Master patching up any Accuracy issues.
Character Skill Level Up Recommendations
With all Skills having the same cooldown durations from Levels 1 to 10, we can just focus on effects alone, with the most useful ones starting from Skill 3’s Backstage Menreiki. The increase in Spirit Power for herself and the party-wide CRIT ATK and Yin ATK will help a lot. Next up will be Skill 2’s Masked Actress, as that team Spirit Power not only benefits the team further, but combined with Skill 3, takes LR Kokoro up to 3P off the jump! This skill also grants an extra stage of Bind/Stat Debuff removal on top of it. And for our curtain call, we have Skill 1’s 66 Masks, which is still a strong Skill in itself, buffing the team CRIT Accuracy and Yin ATK while also inflicting the enemies with Blind anomalies.
Character Strengths
Powerful Poker-Faced Performer
Playing the Destroy-Class Card, Lr Kokoro is most certainly capable of hitting hard with her Spell Cards and Last Word. With a passable Killer range backed up by her natural CRIT potential on her later lines (with enough CRIT Accuracy), this menreiki is able to perform to critical acclaim with her offensive buffs and Slice Scaling, and with self-inflicted Blind anomalies on bullet lines boosting her own Yin ATK, CRIT ATK and CRIT Accuracy, Lr Kokoro is sure to thrive on the big stage!
Solo Act’s Support and Self-Sufficiency
Lr Kokoro is able to bring a good amount of offensive buffs to the table such as Yin ATK, CRIT ATK, CRIT Accuracy and Spirit Power through her Skills alone, with her Ability providing the team CRIT ATK when Grazing and her Spell Card effects including more of CRIT ATK and CRIT Accuracy buffs alongside Agility and a lot of Spirit Power for the team after her Last Word. On top of that, Spell Card 2’s Post-ATK grant the team 2 Barriers and on top of a Skill’s self-Bind/Stat Debuff Removal of 2, Spell Card 1’s Post-ATK removes 1 of the team’s Bind/Stat Debuff Removal. With all this as part of Lr Kokoro’s kit, she can definitely perform strongly as a supporter as well as a self-sufficient buffer.
Blinded by the Star of the Show
Flash, bang wallop! With Skill 1 inflicting 3 layers of Blind onto her enemies and Spell Card 1’s Pre-ATK also inflicting another 2 layers of it onto them, being able to break 5 of them in 1 turn on her own with this same Spell Card is nothing to overlook when it comes to the masked Star in question. She can also break Blind anomalies with Spell Card 2, Last Word and even her Focus Shot if she wanted. And speaking of Star, Lr Kokoro has a strong amount of Star breaks in her arsenal which can definitely back up her Blind breaks if necessary.
Character Weaknesses
Slight Inaccuracies on Stage
She might be both self-sufficient and supportive, but there is one slight roadblock in Lr Kokoro’s pursuit to critical acclaim; her Accuracy buffs. Granted, she gains these on various bullet lines in her kit, but in order for them to activate, those specific bullet lines would need to hit, which isn’t always set in stone. This issue is slightly amplified further due to Lr Kokoro being a Destroy-Class Friend with most bullet lines having less than 75% Accuracy, but once she reaps the benefits of a Story Card/ally that can grant her those helpful Accuracy buffs, this issue is safely quelled. To an extent, she might also struggle somewhat with Agility buffs for her Slice scaling outside of her Last Word.
