Character Stats
Overview
The Loving Preacher Estelle is a member of the rather oversaturated Light Staff user club. Aside from having two dedicated healing Skills, Estelle doesn’t bring anything especially interesting to this category aside from bonus damage on Force Strikes. While the multiplier for Overdrive damage is highest on Staves, her healing role and the corresponding HP builds will equate to little Strength. Split resistances to Curse and Sleep also drag her down somewhat, but Estelle is an otherwise strong starting healer. Â
Strengths
Good Healing Skills
With a single-target heal and a group regen, Estelle has the skills to keep a party healthy.
Passable HP
With a decent HP stat, her heals have some substance to them.
Weaknesses
Inferior to other Light Healers
Light has the most Healers of any element, and Estelle is one of the weakest options in that group.
Split ResistancesÂ
50% Curse Res is decent and fixable with additional Wyrmprints, but this is a lost opportunity cost for more practical equipment.Â
Dragon Recommendations
Jeane d'Arc: The Light HP dragon is the top choice for Light Healers.
Unicorn: A budget HP boost option to make Estelle’s heals more effective.
Cupid: While Cupid is a DPS dragon, the active heal skill is a decent choice if you lack other options.
Weapon Recommendations
Genesis Bringer: The Void Light staff offers much needed Recovery Potency and Skill Prep.
Astrolab/Vampire’s Lantern: These event weapons are good budget choices if you picked them up.
Light of Judgement: While it has high stats, it’s active skill is largely useless to a healer, and it has an astronomical cost.
