  • Since the focus of Claude’s weapon is offense-oriented, an asset to Attack or Speed best compliments this set.

Weapon: Frozen Delight

Special: Lethality / Moonbow or Ruptured Sky / Luna

  • Any form of offensive Special that checks the foe’s stats makes for a suitable choice in this slot. The most effective option may vary with other forms of Special cooldown acceleration present in this set.
    • Lethality is extraordinarily powerful that severely cuts the foe’s defensive stats while ignoring any form of non-special damage reduction. However, it will certainly need some form of supplemental special cooldown support for a quick activation. 

Passive A: Atk/Spd Boosting A Skills / Impact Skills / Heavy Blade 4

  • Any skill that greatly boosts Claude’s offensive stats including but not limited to Atk/Spd Catch, Push, Solo, or Swift Sparrow make for a great choice of A skill.
  • Impact skills also make for a strong option by providing a boost to both firepower and survivability through a significant defensive stat boost and the prevention of the opponent’s follow-up attack.
    • This is particularly useful for this version of Claude, as it prevents opponents with guaranteed follow-up attacks from breaking through the damage safety net provided by Fallen Star by landing a second hit on him.
  • Heavy Blade 4 grants Special cooldown acceleration as well as true damage granted you have higher attack than your foe.

Passive B: Fallen Star

Passive C: Smoke Skills / Rein Skills / Flexible

  • Smoke skills such as Pulse Smoke are very effective when taking on multiple opponents. Pulse Smoke is particularly effective in reducing the damage of opponents around the target after combat by slowing down the activation of their Special.
  • Rein skills such as Spd/Def Rein further boost Claude’s offensive abilities by inflicting enemies within 2 spaces with an in-combat debuff.
  • The C slot can otherwise be replaced as needed to suit the team.

Sacred Seal: Atk/Spd Boosting Seals / Heavy Blade / Quickened Pulse 

  • If not already being used in the A slot, Heavy Blade also makes for an effective Sacred Seal option.
  • Quickened Pulse supplements Claude’s initial Special activation by granting -1 cooldown at the start of turn 1.

Come together for an exceptional offensive weapon with a passive Canto Rem. as a bonus. 

Fallen Star

In contrast to many offensive fliers that may find themselves vulnerable attacking or being left in the range of other strong offensive foes, Claude overcomes by significantly reducing the damage of his foe during combat as well as inflicting the Gravity debuff on enemies after combat and protecting himself with a status effect for the next turn.

Fantastic Offensive Stats

A nice even 38 Atk and 42 Spd  is more than enough to have a strong offensive presence. 


In addition to superior mobility, Claude is granted access to an array of movement skills, exclusive buffs, and other supplementary support.


Low bulk

With both Def and Res sitting at values of under 30, you would be advised against using Claude to tank more than a couple hits when not under the protection of Fallen Star.

Vulnerable to effective damage

Claude will also take greatly increased damage from units with effective damage such as archers.

Lack of Null Follow-up

In contrast to his Legendary variant. Summer Claude has no innate access to Null Follow-up, making it more difficult to play against certain opponents that prevent Claude’s follow-up attacks or guarantee their own against him.
