Should You Pull?
If you want Suzuran, then yes. Otherwise, probably not.
Suzuran is a 6* Slower Supporter, so she may be competing for a Squad spot with the extremely popular Angelina (who is going to be available at the same time on Standard Banner 22). Angelina has much higher personal DPS than Suzuran, but Angelina can also be tricky to use at times. If you’re happy with Angelina, you probably don’t need Suzuran (although you can certainly use both; they have great synergy together). However, Suzuran can be a good choice if you’re not a big fan of Angelina’s drawbacks.
NOTE: In particular, Angelina is regarded as nigh-essential for the upcoming CC#1 Pyrite event. Suzuran is not a replacement for Angelina on this event; their use cases are too different.
The other Operators on this banner are nice to have, but none of them are game-changers. If you’re pulling on this banner, it should probably be for Suzuran (unless Ayerscarpe is your husbando).
Even if you aren’t interested in Suzuran, you may want to consider doing Headhunt x1 until you pull a 5★ or higher Operator, since one is guaranteed in the first 10 rolls.
+ Talent charges [Per Second] SP for Supporter allies
+ E2 Talent inflicts Fragile (take increased damage) on enemies who are in her attack range and inflicted with Slow
+ S2 is a great multi-target Slowing ability, which can do decent DPS
+ S3 covers a huge range, Slows all enemies within it (triggering E2 Talent), increases the potency of her Fragile debuff, AND constantly heals all allies within range. A potentially large team DPS increase.
- Low direct damage potential if using S1 or S3 (she stops attacking during S3); she relies on amplifying her allies’ DPS with her Fragile debuff instead
- S1 triggers automatically, S2 has a relatively long charge time (though her own Talent shortens it)
+ Talent increases the ASPD of nearby allies
+ Decent multi-target damage potential with S1 or S2 in the right situations
+ S1 is a relatively rare melee Slow option and is multi-target
+ A melee Physical attacker that can do Arts Damage with Skills, which can be useful in some situations.
- S2 requires enemies to be blocked to be dealt bonus damage. Heavy blocking strategies are not common in the meta, especially for particularly difficult content.
- In most cases is inferior to the Lappland, who will typically do better damage and provides the Silence debuff.
+ Surprisingly durable when equipped with her S1; she gets Physical and Arts Dodge from her Talent and can heal herself when S1 is active
+ Can heal multiple allies within her attack range using her S1
+ S2 inflicts the unique Nightmare debuff, which reduces enemy movement speed and stacks with effects like Slow (perfect for Slow-centric or 0-Block strategies)
= The Nightmare debuff inflicts True damage on its victims based on how far they move; however, since the debuff also reduces movement speed, enemies don’t move as far while it’s active
- Niche abilities; her unusual utility is rarely required to complete a stage
- Requires substantial investment to reach her full potential, which is asking a lot for such a niche Operator
- Long cooldown on S1 and automatic activation on S2
+ Has faster ASPD than other ST Casters and gets even more from her Talent
+ Her S2 causes her Drone to “lock on” to her target and follow it for the duration of the S2, attacking the entire time – even after the target leaves Click’s attack range!
+ S2 gives Click and her drone a chance to Stun, allowing her to Stun-lock targets
= Her damage is split across two attacks (Click’s attack and the Drone’s attack)
- Low base ATK and has to attack the same target several times to ramp up her drone damage
With her frilly outfits and adorable hairstyle, Suzuran looks like she walked straight out of Cardcaptor Sakura. This is entirely appropriate, because she’s ready to catch you all of her enemies with her Slowing powers so they can be sent back where they belong! Combining elements of Slower, Debuffer, and Aura Supporters into one adorable package, Suzuran is a top-tier utility Operator who’s ready to open the door to victory for her friends and allies.
Ayerscarpe may look distant and foreboding at a glance, but he’s actually a big believer in teamwork. Not only has he worked with fellow Operator Leonhardt for years, but he uses his Talent to buff the ASPD of nearby allies and his S2 to electrocute enemies that his allies are blocking. Who would have expected this grim-faced rabbit would be so attached to his friends?
Nightmare’s personality is torn between the mild-mannered Gloria and the militant Nightmare, and this has created a similar dichotomy in her Arts. With her Skill 1, Gloria’s Arts can both strike enemies and recover HP to allies. With her Skill 2, Nightmare’s attacks can inflict a unique debuff that reduces enemy movement speed and deals True damage as they attempt to escape her wrath.
Click has become used to being around dangerous situations due to her hobby of going out into the Catastrophe-ridden world to film home movies. Her faithful Drone is always around to help get her out of trouble, and it’s ready to help her on the battlefield as well, locking onto her enemies and zapping them with Stun-inflicting laser bursts no matter where they try to run!
