Gear
When it comes to gear, Yufine wants pretty typical DPS gear. She wants to prioritize lots of Atk%, Crit Chance, and Crit Damage so her S3 can hit as hard as possible. The rest of her gear substats can be filled with either Speed or Effectiveness. Effectiveness is useful for making her buff dispels and Defense Breaks more accurate. She doesn't need to have a ton of Speed, especially if she has a good CR-pusher in her team, but higher Speed is almost always better than lower Speed.
Artifacts
Portrait of the Saints gives Yufine a percent multiplier on her damage, which is huge for DPS heroes, making it the go-to choice. Other heavy-DPS Artifacts like Uberius's Tooth or Hell Cutter can also be good for her. (Exorcist's Tonfa is a budget option.)
On the other hand, if your Yufine already does enough damage with her S3 to destroy any target, there are some hybrid Warrior Artifacts that can boost Yufine's damage but also shore up her shaky survivability. Draco Plate or Sigurd Scythe can both be good for this purpose.
If you like to live dangerously, you can also try Creation and Destruction. Imagine using Yufine's S3, Soulburning it for an extra turn, and being able to use her S3 immediately again! The Artifact's activation chance is low, but the rewards can be substantial.

Team

Pairing Yufine with the notorious Iseria + Tamarinne combo is an example of a very strong Guild Wars team. Starting off with Iseria and Yufine's S3s almost guarantees the fight will become a 3v2. Tamarinne's healing and buffs make Yufine difficult to kill, and Tamarinne can also guarantee Dual Attacks with Yufine, Defense Breaking the remaining opponents to death one at a time.

Analysis
Overview
Yufine is a 5★ Earth Warrior who is most commonly used on Guild Wars Offense. The small, scrappy nature of Guild Wars fights means she won't be easily combo'd to death, while still allowing her to output a lot of damage against the right opponents.
Since the release of her exclusive equipment, Azure Dragon's Spirit -- which features two different powerful buffs it can give to her S1 -- she is often seen together with heroes such as Lilias, Kitty Clarissa, and Tamarinne, who can proc her S1 with dual attacks.
Strengths
One-Shot Potential
Yufine's claim to fame mostly revolves around her S3, specifically how easily she can one-shot a key enemy target with it. Her S3 does more damage to an opponent who has buffs, and buffs are a very common tool in PvP, which gives Yufine crazy damage potential in PvP. She is also able to provide her own Defense Break (with her S1) and Attack Up buff (with her S2). On top of all that, being Earth-elemental, she is perfectly suited for taking out the many powerful Ice heroes dominating the current PvP meta.
Can Soulburn an Extra Turn
Being able to Soulburn an extra turn off her S3 allows Yufine to kill reviving opponents like Arbiter Vildred where other DPS heroes may not be able to. Strike the reviving opponent at full force with Yufine's Soulburned S3, triggering their revival, then strike again with her extra turn and put them in the grave for good.
Spammable Defense Break
Yufine can cause Defense Break using her S1, meaning she can spam it throughout a battle for fairly consistent Defense Breaking.
Buff Dispelling
Not only is it not safe to be buffed around Yufine, it's not easy to stay buffed around her. Her S3 not only does more damage to buffed targets, but it also wipes all their buffs (assuming they survive the blow). Furthermore, Yufine's S2 dispels one buff from all enemies. Between these two abilities, Yufine makes staying buffed in a battle against her a difficult prospect.
Self-Buffs
Yufine may deny her enemy's buffs, but she has no problem with buffing herself. In addition to dispelling buffs (and Silencing), Yufine's S2 grants her an Attack and Speed buff when used. Nobody ever accused dragons of fighting fair, now did they?
Weaknesses
Long Cooldowns
Most of Yufine's real damage potential comes from her S3, but her S3 also has a pretty lengthy 5-turn cooldown (4 turns after Skill Enhancement). The rest of Yufine's kit has a lot of utility to help her pull her weight while her S3 is off cooldown, but as a DPS hero, you're really waiting for her to get off that next huge nuke, and it can take longer than you might like.
Squishier Than She Seems
Yufine has pretty high base HP, but her base Defense is low, and while her kit is very powerful, it lacks sustain. On her own, Yufine has no ways to reduce damage, recover from damage, or otherwise protect herself from the enemy's assault. She needs defensive support from her allies in order to survive long enough to do her job in battle.
Requires Setup
The best way to use Yufine is to have her one-shot an enemy right on the first turn of battle. However, this isn't always as easy as it sounds. Yufine relies on her enemy being buffed to maximize her damage. If she outspeeds her enemies, they may not have buffed themselves yet and her damage may not be enough. However, if her enemies go first, they might hit Yufine harder than she can handle and one-shot her before she gets her S3 off.
