Analysis
Overview
Achates is often seen as a faster mini-Destina, and for good reason: Although her HP and Curing Prayer (S3) healing may not rival those of Destina, Achates has more Speed and lower cooldowns, allowing her to heal very frequently. Her Invincibility saves teammates from death and allows her to frontline tank, but lasts for only 1 turn, making it extremely situational. Achates also has other caveats, such as lacking Immunity in her Skill set, which make her not that useful in a debuff-focused PvP.
Strengths
Team-wide cleanse with short cooldown
Curing Prayer (S3) is one of the strongest team-wide heals in the game, coming with an additional debuff cleanse effect. It has a very low 3 turn cooldown, and healing can be boosted with just 10 Souls. With a Speed set and the right Artifact, Achates can easily keep your entire team alive.
High Speed
Achates has one of the fastest Speed stats among Soul Weavers, which can be even further increased by her fourth Awakening. This allows her to cycle through turns more quickly and burn through cooldowns in no time.
Strong S2
Rapid Cure (S2) is a very situational Skill. Because it only lasts for 1 turn, the user should carefully consider their Heroes’ and the enemies’ turn order as well as elemental advantages to make sure that the teammate is actually protected from the bigger hits (unless healing takes priority). When used correctly, S2 can save low HP teammates from certain death. Since invincibility lasts for 1 turn, it stays the longest on Achates herself, allowing her to be a frontline tank.
Weaknesses
Situational S2
Achates’s S2 grants Invincibility which is a powerful buff, but it lasts only 1 turn making it very situational. The healing that it comes with is very low, and will not be efficient unless it is Enhanced or Achates is equipped with Artifacts like Rod of Amaryllis or Shimadra Staff.
No immunity
Compared to other heroes that compete well in PvP, Achates lacks a Skill with debuff Immunity, making her a weak option for PvP. Double healer is usually not optimal, so she is used best in PvE content.

Healer-PvE
Healing in Hyperspeed
This PvE build focuses on utilizing Achates’s low cooldowns and high Speed. With enough HP, this build can also be used as a frontline tank since she can constantly heal and grant herself Invincibility. For frontline tank, Rod of Amaryllis is recommended for increased single-target healing. For a sideline healer, Shimadra Staff is recommended for getting more healing out of S3.

Team
Core
Achates will work as a healer or a frontline tank in most PvE teams. Rod of Amaryllis will help make up for the small amount of healing that her S2 does, while Shimadra Staff will increase the team-wide heal of her S3.
However, Achates does not have skills that grant an offensive buff, so having another character that grants an offensive buff will help cover that gap.
