- Young Tiki functions as a standard Enemy Phase dragon that doesn't particularly stand out when compared to her peers, but her Enemy Phase performance can still be quite impressive given enough investment.
- Dragons have access to a host of powerful inheritable weaponry, and Lightning Breath is one of the best among them, giving Tiki access to an inbuilt Distant Counter weapon, which allows her to further improve her combat performance with her A slot skill, rather than being forced to run Distant Counter.
- Good options for Tiki’s A slot include Mirror Stance 3(Grants additional Attack and Resistance as well as Guard effect on Enemy Phase) Atk/Res Unity(Allows Tiki to absorb debuffs while granting her an Attack and Resistance boost as long as she has an ally within 2 spaces present) and Distant Def 4(significantly increases her defenses during enemy phase against ranged foes, as well as negating their buffs)
- Tiki’s best B slot option is undoubtedly Dragon’s Ire, functioning as an upgraded Quick Riposte that also neutralizes effects that stop her follow-up attacks, although this is still susceptible to Null-follow-up. Null-C Disrupt is also a good option due to Tiki’s reasonable resistance, which in conjunction with the Mystic Boost sacred seal allows her to hard counter staff users.
- Pulse Smoke is a standard for most Enemy Phase units due to the protection it provides against enemy specials, but it can be swapped out freely.
- Aside from Mystic Boost, standard defensive sacred seals and Quick Riposte(If Null C-Disrupt is used) are also great sacred seal options for Tiki.

- This build trades A slot flexibility for weapon flexibility, as Tiki has access to a plethora of powerful inheritable breaths thanks to her status as a dragon, namely Blackfire Breath, functioning as an upgraded Lull Atk/Res with a solo condition, and Pale Breath, which shares it’s effect with the 2020 Spring inheritable weapons(Ex: Gift Fork), which allows her to negate debuffs to some extent. Tiki can also use her exclusive Breath of Fog, but it’s a rather weak option in many scenarios and pales in comparison to Pale Breath and Blackfire Breath.
- Without Lightning Breath, Distant Counter is necessary to counterattack ranged foes, as taking attacks for free from them is not ideal.
- Dragon’s Ire is Tiki’s best B slot option as it essentially functions as an upgraded Quick Riposte, which helps greatly as Tiki’s Speed is incredibly middling. Null C-Disrupt can also be used to good effect, however, as it makes her a better counter to staff users, especially with her natural adaptive damage.
- Standard defensive sacred seals, such as Mystic Boost, Mirror Stance, and Distant Def are all good options for Tiki’s sacred seal slot, provided Quick Riposte isn’t used alongside Null C-Disrupt.
Strengths
Infantry Dragon
Being an infantry dragon is in itself quite advantageous, giving Tiki access to a plethora of powerful skills such as Dragon’s Ire, Breath skills, and Null C-Disrupt, in addition to some great inheritable weapons, namely Lightning Breath and Blackfire Breath. Most breath weapons also feature inbuilt adaptive damage against ranged foes, allowing Tiki to target their weaker defensive stats.
Weaknesses
Dragon Effective Weaponry
Tiki’s status as a dragon may come with many advantages, but it also leaves her extremely susceptible to effective weaponry from the likes of Legendary Marth and especially Legendary Juilia, who can decimate Young Tiki easily.
Unremarkable Compared to other Red Dragons
None of Young Tiki’s stats stand out in any way, aside from her decent 32 base Defense(34 with Resplendent), and her exclusive Breath of Fog is lackluster compared to inheritables such as Blackfire Breath. Although her Resplendent helps her statline out to some extent, Tiki still struggles to stand out compared to other Red Infantry dragons such as Sothis and Nah due to their significantly better exclusive weapons and more optimized statlines. However, Unremarkable in this case does NOT mean bad, and Young Tiki can perform extremely well given enough investment.
