Banshee Hunt Solo Cleanser

Jecht is a very stable pick for support Hero in Banshee 11 runs due to his passive Skill that removes a debuff at the start of his turn. When combined with Speed gear and the Wondrous Potion Vial Artifact, he can reliably dispel both of the Banshee's Poisons each turn, ensuring that your team never falls to the Banshee's curse.

Because Jecht needs to stay alive above all else in order to maintain his passive cleansing, it's best to build him with lots and lots of flat Health on his gear. He also wants as much Speed as possible, since maximizing his number of turns also maximizes his cleansing potential.

From there, you could try to build some damage on him, but his damage multipliers are terrible, so his DPS will always be bad. Instead, double down on longevity with Def% substats and either some Effectiveness (for his S1's Hit chance debuff) or Effect Resistance (to resist enemy ailments).

There is pretty much no reason to give Jecht any Artifact that isn't Wondrous Potion Vial, since his entire role is being an ailment cleanser for the team. If you're just starting Epic Seven and you don't have a Potion Vial yet, though, you can give him Ranon's Memorandum, a budget 3★ Artifact that increases his Speed as a battle goes on instead.

Team

Core

An example of a viable 3-man auto Banshee 11 team formation. Jecht is the primary cleanser, and Bellona should be equipped with Bloodstone to provide secondary healing. Vildred's AOE damage is perfect for dealing with Banshee, especially when she splits into the Banshee sisters, and because his damage scales off Speed, Jecht's Speed buff will increase clear speed.

Secondary

A safe and stable F2P team with two Defense Breakers and two single-target DPS heroes. Falconer Kluri is somewhat squishy for a Knight, so a tanky Soul Weaver like Destina or Angelica can easily take her place, sacrificing one Defense Breaker for added healing and survivability.

Analysis

Overview

Jecht is a beginner-friendly Soul Weaver with a passive that dispels one debuff from your team at the beginning of each turn. He is commonly used as a support Hero in auto Banshee 11 Hunt teams because his passive -- along with the Wondrous Potion Vial Artifact -- allows him to remove both stacks of the Banshee's poison each turn and avoid the Banshee's curse. He also lowers the enemy's Hit chance for better team survivability and applies a Speed buff and continuous healing with his S3 (Gale), which benefits the team both offensively and defensively.

Strengths

Budget Banshee Specialist

As mentioned above, all three of Jecht's skills are extremely well-suited for Banshee 11 hunts, particularly his S2's passive debuff cleanse. He is even viable as a solo support hero in 3-man auto Banshee 11 teams.

Team Speed

Jecht is one of a handful of heroes with a Speed Memory Imprint, giving your team a maximum of +8 additional Speed. Combined with the Speed buff that his third skill grants, he can potentially help the team cycle through turns very quickly in both PvE and PvP scenarios.

Weaknesses

Cleanse is Random

Jecht's S2 passive is limited to dispelling a single, random debuff each turn. This makes him sorely lacking in scenarios in which the team is inflicted with multiple debuffs, as Jecht is unable to prioritize specific debuffs or allies to cleanse.

Lacks Direct/ Immediate Healing

While Jecht's S3 grants the team continuous healing over time, he is unable to provide emergency healing to allies who are in danger of dying right now. Therefore, most team compositions need a second Soul Weaver to take on the role of primary healer.

Poor Base Stats

Compared to most Soul Weavers, Jecht's base stats are rather poor, especially his low Health and Speed. This makes his survivability an issue, as he's reliant on allies for damage, tanking, and healing.
