Weapon: Moonless Breath
- In addition to Distant Counter, Moonless Breath covers Robin’s sustainability options when dealing damage with a Special and near an ally.
Assist: Reposition
Special:Moonbow / Glimmer / Noontime
- Any of the aforementioned 2 cooldown Specials pair best with Robin’s weapon and A skill for the most efficient rate of healing. Noontime allows for some additional healing while the others give Robin a burst damage option (which can be useful in preventing Robin from getting doubled by one-shotting her opponent more reliably).
Passive A: Dragonscale
- Completes the kit by having Robin’s Special ready on every counterattack as well as neutralizing flier effective damage and granting additional stats.
Passive B: Dragon’s Ire
- Not only does it allow for Robin to make a guaranteed follow-up attack with a greater HP threshold than Quick Riposte, it also neutralizes any effect that would prevent it such as the foe's Impact skills.
Passive C: Smoke Skills / Rein Skills / Flexible
- Smoke skills such as Pulse Smoke are very effective when taking on multiple opponents. Pulse Smoke is particularly effective in reducing the damage of opponents around the target after combat by slowing down the activation of their Special.
- Rein skills are almost universally good, as the “debuffing foes within two spaces” is essentially free stats for Robin and any nearby allies.
- The C skill can otherwise be replaced as needed to suit the team.
Sacred Seal: Solo Skills / Stance Skills
- Any form of Solo or Stance skill that boosts Robin’s key stats (such as Atk/Def Solo or Mirror Stance) makes for an effective Sacred Seal option.
Strengths
Moonless Breath
Hey remember Expiration? Yeah while you wait for that to get a refine, here’s a better version that not only has Distant Counter, but also grants 30% of maximum HP healing when dealing damage with a Special.
Dragon Scale
As if Moonless Breath wasn’t enough to make a joke out of Legendary Robin, here’s a much better version of Dragonskin (which can’t get a refine). This time, in addition to neutralizing flier effective damage, it inflicts Atk/Res -6 on foe and grants Special cooldown acceleration per foe’s attack during combat.
Fantastic Attack
Robin’s high end base Attack of 40 allows for her to naturally deal significant damage.
Stellar Bulk
With 37 Defense and 38 Resistance at base, Robin will perform well in taking physical and magical hits alike.
Flying
Gets the benefits of being a flier such as superior mobility without any of the obvious faults such as flier effective damage.
Weaknesses
Terrible Speed
Getting doubled by most opponents isn’t exactly ideal, especially when there is no Guard effect anywhere in your kit to prevent opponents from easily activating their Specials.
Dragon
We live in Edelgard’s ideal world where dragons cannot roam free, mainly due to the abundance of dragon effective weapons in competitive modes.
