Polarized Light EX 4: Challenge IV

Mission and Clear Conditions:

Mission:

  • Kill M16

Clear Guide:

Team Recommendations:

  •  2 Combat Echelons
    • Twin/Taunt Fairies Recommended
    • 1AR/SMG, 1RF/HG

Clear Steps

This map is more long and annoying than hard. We need to destroy one of the water valves in the center to prevent M16 from coating the battlefield in napalm, making survival unlikely. The enemies orbiting the center are a mix of standard SF enemies, and SWAP enemies, and do need some care to be taken when engaging them. Taunt or Twin Fairies help a lot regardless of Echelon composition, and M16 is best engaged with a standard AR/SMG Echelon.

Turn 1

1.1

Deploy an AR/SMG Echelon and move them one node to the left.

1.2

Deploy an RF/HG Echelon. Decide what you want to fight the SWAP stack with, and End your turn.

Turn 2

2.1

Repair, and resupply All Echelons. Move your AR/SMG Echelon up one node, to activate the Console.

2.2

Move the Echelon on the Console down two nodes.

2.3

Move the Echelon on the Command Post to the left one node.

Turn 3

3.1

Move the AR/SMG Echelon down one node. End your turn.

Turn 4

4.1

Move the AR/SMG Echelon down two nodes and left two nodes. Pick up the Bomb.

End your Turn.

Turn 5

5.1

Move the AR/SMG Echelon left two and up one node. If the upper Combat Echelon is incapable of defeat the SWAP Dragoons, move them to the right one node to safety, otherwise, let them agro the SWAP Dragoons.

Turn 6

6.1

Move the AR/SMG Echelon right one node, and up one node.

Sooo uh...funny story. When I was trying to do this map, I apparently forgot how to play the video game, and successfully messed up the following part no less than 5 times in a row, and the need for sleep took over. So, I'll be adding the screenshots for the actual steps, but in the meantime, Sheele is here to explain what to actually do.

After planting the bomb move your Echelon down one node, and back left one node. End your Turn.
On turn seven, have the AR/SMG Echelon engage M16 in the debuff zone. It's the same as the fight from the story, Just M16 has substantially improved stats.
