Scoring Method Details

5 Star Servants

Tier B+

Miss Crane is a unique supportive Caster Servant with the rare ability to Order Change herself out of the party using her NP, with a paltry requirement of 20 Critical Stars. Very notably, she has a full 100% NP Gauge Charge skill, enabling her to use her NP on demand so long as enough Stars are also on the field. In addition, her kit provides a plethora of offensive buffs for allies, including increased Star Drop Rate, Star Gather, Crit Damage, ATK, NP Strength, and anywhere from 30-50% NP Gauge to an ally depending on overcharge. She also provides defensive support in the form of Invincibility and Instant Death Immunity. With her Order Change effect, she elevates the flexibility of buff stacking setups to levels that were not possible before. However, if the Master has few other supports in the roster, her utility is somewhat limited. She also struggles to deal damage on her own, being very much not built for offense herself. By the design of her kit, she excels particularly at giving the spotlight to others, and her value increases as more Servants are obtained, making her a poor choice for newer Masters, but an excellent choice for veteran Masters.

Miss Crane: x -> B+ (Avg Score: 8.27) - [NorseFTX - A-][WhiteRabbit - B+][Meliran - B-][Rathilal - B+][Ceui - B+]

4 Star Servants

Tier B

Mysterious Idol X (Alter), the welfare of the Waltz Collab event, is the first Foreigner Welfare Servant in the roster. As a Quick AoE damage dealer, she is capable of looping her NP with the right setups (although her refund is relatively low compared to other Servants, so she loops with some difficulty). Her damage is also quite high due to her welfare status, and she also has both anti-Evil and anti-Mechanical bonus damage. Her kit has an array of offensive buffs, including Quick/Buster, ATK (party), and Crit Damage buffs. Defensively, she has an Evade skill and a party heal. Overall she is a well balanced, straightforward damage dealer, and is particularly helpful for Masters who would like a Foreigner in the roster to help deal with Berserker waves.

Mysterious Idol X (Alter): x -> B (Avg Score: 8) - [NorseFTX - B][WhiteRabbit - B][Meliran - B][Rathilal - B]

Tier List Movements

5 Star Servants

Tier B+ > B+

Hokusai's upgrade with the release of Hunting Quest 10 upgrades her third skill, adding the effect of generating a number of Stars, while increasing her Arts Card Star Gather Rate for three turns. The buff is a helpful improvement for her overall critical performance, although it was generally agreed that the change wasn't enough to push her up a tier.

Katsushika Hokusai: B+ -> B+ (Avg Score: 8.4) - [NorseFTX - B+][TrubotheDwarf - B][WhiteRabbit - B+][Meliran - A][Rathilal - B+]

Tier C > B

Archer of Shinjuku's Freeshooter skill gains a 1-turn Ignore DEF and an extremely handy instant 10-20 Critical Stars. This drastically improves his ease of use, since this enables him to access his NP charge skill on demand (which requires at least 10 stars to use), and is very much a welcome upgrade for users of this criminal mastermind.

Archer of Shinjuku: C -> B (Avg Score: 7.67) - [NorseFTX - B-][TrubotheDwarf - B][WhiteRabbit - C+][Meliran - B][Rathilal - C+]

Tier A > A

Quetzalcoatl's upgrade provides a very straightforward addition of 15-25 critical stars to her Charisma skill, with no other changes to her Charisma's ATK modifiers. However, in combination with her already existing Star Gather and Crit Damage buffs, this gives her easier access to her already devastating crits, and is a handy addition despite being relatively minor. Overall, it was agreed this change wasn't enough to change her tier.

Quetzalcoatl: A -> A (Avg Score: 8.73) - [NorseFTX - A][TrubotheDwarf - A][WhiteRabbit - A][Meliran - B+][Rathilal - B+]

Tier A > A+

Vlad III is the first of Servants to receive a second NP upgrade, pushing his base NP damage multiplier up to 1200% at NP1, +300% above the standard for most ST Arts Servants. The upgrade also applies an Arts Resist debuff after damage for 3 turns, improving Arts performance on the enemy for any subsequent hits provided the enemy survives. This upgrade makes him an excellent source of single target damage for many encounters, especially with the presence of Arts Support.

Vlad III: A -> A+ (Avg Score: 9.27) - [NorseFTX - A][TrubotheDwarf - A+][WhiteRabbit - EX-][Meliran - A][Rathilal - A+]

Tier B > B

Jeanne's NP damage debuff skill no longer is restricted to Servant enemies, and her skill also gains the first instance of offensive support in her kit in the form of sizable DEF debuffs for a single target. The buffs are nice for her, although she still suffers from relatively weak Cards, and this buff doesn't quite change whether she would supplant any other more specialized offensive supports. She remains relegated to her role as a key member of stall teams, although she still finds difficulty fitting in other setups.

Jeanne d'Arc: B -> B (Avg Score: 7.93) - [NorseFTX - B][TrubotheDwarf - C][WhiteRabbit - B+][Meliran - B][Rathilal - B+]

Tier C > B

Medb's latest upgrade gives her a very handy NP Gauge charge skill of up to 30%, although it is restricted to Male and Fairy/Fae-trait allies. Her other skills also have trait restrictions to Male allies (such as her upgraded second skill), so this upgrade solidifies her as a specialized support, particularly for Male units. The sheer amount of offensive and NP support she now provides to Male supports makes her a very impressive offensive support in the right teams, although she remains otherwise niche.

Queen Medb: C -> B (Avg Score: 7.67) - [NorseFTX - B][WhiteRabbit - B][Meliran - C+][Rathilal - C+]

Tier A > A

MHXA's NP upgrade finally arrives, providing her with a healthy damage boost of +400% across the board. Additionally, she now deals bonus damage against any Good aligned targets with her NP/Card hits on the same turn. This stacks with the bonus damage that she already does against Saber Servants (which further stacks with her Berserker Class advantage), and comes into play quite often since many Sabers also have Good alignment. The buff is a helpful one, although not quite enough to push her up a tier; instead it solidifies her current position.

Mysterious Heroine X (Alter): A -> A (Avg Score: 9.07) - [NorseFTX - A][TrubotheDwarf - A][WhiteRabbit - A+][Meliran - A][Rathilal - A]

4 Star Servants

Tier C > C+

Assassin of Paraiso receives her NP upgrade, giving the usual ST Arts NP buff of +300% Damage, while also adding a high-valued Curse Damage +200% effect for 3 turns. The damage buff is very welcome, and is enough to give her a bump in tier. The curse effect also makes her a particularly notable choice for curse-stacking setups.

Assassin of Paraiso: C -> C+ (Avg Score: 7.46) - [NorseFTX - C+][TrubotheDwarf - B][WhiteRabbit - C+][Meliran - C+][Rathilal - C+]

Tier C+ > C+

Lancer Alter finally gets an NP charge of her own with her latest upgrade, valued at a flat 20% charge, enabling her easier access to her NP. Additionally, her Buster buff is extended to 3 times, 3 turns when it originally only lasted 1 turn, which can be helpful in that it either applies to a single NPBB turn or to NPs across multiple turns, provided not all her Buster Cards are used. However it was generally agreed that the upgrade isn't quite enough to push her up a full tier, and she remains where she is.

Altria Pendragon (Lancer Alter): C+ -> C+ (Avg Score: 7.33) - [NorseFTX - C+][TrubotheDwarf - C][WhiteRabbit - C+][Meliran - B-][Rathilal - C+]

Tier E > D

Shinjuku's Assassin finally gets his NP upgrade, helping a great deal with his damage output by providing a standard +400% Damage buff to Quick ST NPs, while also enhancing his damage on subsequent hits by debuffing the target's Quick Resist and increasing his own Crit Damage for 3 turns after damage. Although he won't be breaking any damage records post-buff, it substantially pushes up his performance, which was sorely needed.

Assassin of Shinjuku: E -> D (Avg Score: 6.13) - [NorseFTX - D][TrubotheDwarf - C][WhiteRabbit - D+][Meliran - E][Rathilal - D+]

Tier C > C

Rama's latest upgrade provides a sorely needed improvemet to his NP damage, giving a standard +200% damage boost for ST Buster NPs. Additionally, it debuffs Buster Resist for the target for 3 turns after damage, and also can drain the NP Gauge for a Demonic-trait enemy by 1, giving him additional utility in his specialty vs Demonic enemies. The upgrade puts his damage at values that make him a decent option outside of his niche when in need of an ST Buster Saber.

Rama: C -> C (Avg Score: 7.07) - [NorseFTX - C+][TrubotheDwarf - C][WhiteRabbit - C][Meliran - C][Rathilal - C]

Tier B+ > A+

Helena's most recent upgrade grants herself up to 30% additional NP Gauge, giving her essentially +50% NP Gauge for herself in combination with her other charge skill. In addition, the skill cooldown is decreased by 2 turns, helping to increase its usability in longer encounters. For most, this upgrade, especially in combination with her already high NP damage, makes her worthy of a tier upgrade.

Helena Blavatsky: B+ -> A+ (Avg Score: 9.27) - [NorseFTX - A][TrubotheDwarf - EX][WhiteRabbit - B+][Meliran - EX][Rathilal - A]

Tier A > A

Nitocris finally gets some measure of offensive buffs in her own kit with this latest upgrade. Her first skill provides a small Arts buff for herself, which improves her performance slightly. Unfortunately, the increased Arts NP Gain does not always apply for her NP hits, since if instant death activates, then NP Gain for that enemy is nullified, so she doesn't always fully reap the benefits of her Arts buff. As a result, although the buff is welcome, it was agreed that it was not enough to push her up from her already very solid placement.

Nitocris: A -> A (Avg Score: 9) - [NorseFTX - A][WhiteRabbit - A][Meliran - A][Rathilal - A]

1-3 Star Servants

Tier C+ > C+

Kojirou's second skill receives an upgrade, enabling Vitrify to remove all types of debuffs rather than just mental debuffs. The skill also gains new offensive capacity, particularly in solo situations, allowing hits from his Quick Cards to continually stack 10% Quick Resist Down debuffs on the enemy, with debuffs lasting 3 turns.

Sasaki Kojirou: C+ -> C+ (Avg Score: 7.46) - [NorseFTX - C+][TrubotheDwarf - B][WhiteRabbit - C+][Meliran - C+][Rathilal - C+]

Tier C+ > C+

Hassan of the Serenity gains an Arts buff with her latest upgrade, along with an effect that inflicts Poison whenever she attacks with an Arts Card. The Arts buff itself is helpful in improving her offensive performance; the Poison effect is somewhat niche and in most cases isn't a huge dealbreaker, although still nice to have. Overall, it was agreed that her tier rating stays the same after this upgrade.

Hassan of the Serenity: C+ -> C+ (Avg Score: 7.33) - [NorseFTX - C+][WhiteRabbit - C+][Meliran - C+][Rathilal - C+]
