PvP
Baiken in PvP is a strong counter for Arbiter Vildred and does good damage to everything else. She sports high ATK and fairly decent base Speed. Her free turns (as with Judge Kise and, to a lesser extent, Blood Blade Karin/Karin), allow her to bypass 100% CR free turns such as Arbiter Vildred's.
In addition, she has a large teamwide CR push attached to her S3, Garyo Tensei, which is good enough to allow the rest of your team to polish off the enemies.
Effectiveness is unneeded, due to this build being used for raw damage.

Team

The Auxiliary Lots ATK buff is essential to allow Baiken to OHKO with her first S2, and to enable her to move before the enemy team. Speed imprints are recommended to snatch the first turn, making SCRoozid or even Surin decent partners. You only need 1-2 speed boosters on the team and you need other options to secure the sweep, so you can consider Vildred if you don't mind doubling down on the Earth element.

Analysis
Overview
Baiken is a limited Earth Thief from Epic Seven’s Guilty Gear collaboration. Getting sucked into Orbis from her own world, she decides to join the fight. Baiken brings a combination of Bleed, Crit, Combat Readiness increase, and Detonation all in one kit. This enables her to be a fierce Single Target damage threat when placed into teams that can proliferate her strengths.
Strengths
High CR Boost
Baiken has one of the highest teamwide CR boosts at 25% with max molagora investment.
Turn after Turn
Tsurane Sanzu-watashi (S2) will grant Baiken an extra turn if she lands a Critical Hit. This can effectively be viewed as cooldown reduction for her other skills, extra Soul generation, and setup for Garyo Tensei (S3). This has particularly synergy with Rhianna & Luciella, which combine for a truly staggering number of turns.
No Need for Effectiveness
While Baiken does bonus damage on S3 with extra bleeds, she has no real need for effectiveness (she's guaranteed at least one bleed on S2), given the very strong raw damage that she can put out. It is worth investing in teammates with some bleeds, however, if you want to reach her maximum damage potential.

Bleed as a mechanic overall is rather weak damage, and certain bosses punish debuffs heavily. Centering the entire team around Bleed is there often undesirable.
Reliant on Criticals
Two of her Skills have bonus effects that rely on Baiken’s ability to Crit. This can be difficult when paired against Fire enemies or Heroes with a Crit Chance Reduction buff.

Baiken wants the all-important first turn but doesn't get it very often, since she possesses only middling speed. This can be of particular concern if you don't have Auxiliary Lots.
