Passive C: Panic Smoke / Atk Smoke / Spd Smoke / Atk/Res Oath / Flier Buffs / Flexible

Sacred Seal: Death Blow / Sturdy Blow / Attack +3 / Atk Smoke / Spd Smoke

  • This set focuses on maximizing Bridal Micaiah’s sheer damage potential performance in the Player Phase to enable her to consistently OHKO enemy units. Accordingly, taking her four-point Attack Asset is highly recommended to further develop her ability to do so. None of her other stats (besides her Resistance in some cases) really matter, so a Flaw in any of them can be safely taken here.
  • Glimmer’s extremely short cooldown makes it a prime choice of Special here, especially with how well it scales with her Duo Skill’s Dominance effect and Joyful Vows’ effective damage against cavalry and armored foes. Alternatively, Iceberg can be taken for its relative consistency in terms of damage, though it does come on a longer cooldown.
  • Bridal Micaiah’s native Atk/Res Push 4 is a fantastic skill to occupy her A slot, providing a massive boost to her two most important stats. Should one wish to focus on maximizing her raw damage output, Death Blow 4 may be considered for its slightly stronger Attack boost but the difference between this and Atk/Res Push 4 is very small, so switching to Death Blow is often unnecessary. Sturdy Impact is also a decent choice to circumvent Micaiah’s pitiful physical bulk; however, do note that its follow-up negation is redundant since Joyful Vows already provides the same effect.
  • Her B slot skill options are quite limited due to her flying status. If using Atk/Res Push, Mystic Boost is ideal to counteract its chip damage; this also has the benefit of making Bridal Micaiah much more formidable against dragon foes. Sabotage Atk and Sabotage Spd (or their Chill equivalents if unavailable) are potential candidates as well to debilitate enemies to strengthen the potency of her Dominance buff.
  • Smoke skills are great choices if Bridal Micaiah is being provided with refresher support, allowing her to debuff nearby foes for improved matchups due to the raw stat difference as well as Dominance’s effect on the turn her Duo Skill is activated. Panic Smoke is an especially strong choice to take advantage of any visible buffs the enemies have, but Atk Smoke or Spd Smoke are solid alternatives if unavailable. Otherwise, Bridal Micaiah’s native Atk/Res Oath can be kept or she can use class-exclusive buffs in flier teams.
  • Any seal that increases Bridal Micaiah’s raw Attack stat is recommended to continue developing her OHKO capabilities. Death Blow is her best option, but Sturdy Blow and the Attack +3 seals or any of its variants can be used if someone else is already using it. Lastly, the Atk Smoke or Spd Smoke seals also make for worthwhile considerations should one wish to capitalize on her Duo Skill’s effect.

Passive C: Ground Orders / Drive Skills / Guidance / Ploys / Flier Buffs / Flexible

Sacred Seal: Drive Atk / Drive Skills / Tactic Skills / Chill Skills / Guidance

  • This build has Bridal Micaiah take a more supportive role in a team, supplying her allies with a powerful damage boost via her Duo Skill and applying debuffs on enemy foes from a distance; she can also provide useful movement support thanks to her flying status. A Resistance Asset is ideal here to strengthen her proficiency at using Sabotage skills and potentially Ploys to debuff foes.
  • Fury is a great choice for Bridal Micaiah’s A slot as it fortifies her ability to wield debuffing skills while supplementing her combat prowess somewhat at the same time. Furthermore, this helps her act as a lightning rod and absorb Chills (namely Chill Atk and Chill Res) away from her teammates. Fort. Def/Res may be preferred should one wish to focus solely on maximizing Bridal Micaiah’s supportive capabilities.
  • Sabotage Atk and Sabotage Spd are excellent B slot skills that help Bridal Micaiah apply mapwide debuffs to strengthen her team’s performance, especially on turns when she activates her Duo Skill. Should one wish for arguably greater consistency, Chill Atk or Chill Spd may be considered as it is always guaranteed to target at least one foe; however, its potency is much lesser. For these reasons, the choice between which to use here will boil down mainly to personal preference and skill availability.
  • As a flier, Bridal Micaiah can equip powerful skills such as Ground Orders and Guidance in her C slot to vastly improve her team’s mobility; this also lets her shine as a support in flier-exclusive teams through the use of flier buffs. Alternatively, Ploys pair nicely with her high Resistance to ensure that enemies are debuffed, or one can use a standard Drive or Tactic to buff her allies’ stats.
  • Bridal Micaiah’s seal slot is quite flexible; any choice of Drive, Ploy, Chill, or Tactic skill will work perfectly to add on to her supportive capabilities. If it is not being used in her C slot, Guidance is also a good option to consider.

Passive B: Vantage

Passive C: Pulse Smoke / Panic Smoke / Atk Smoke / Spd Smoke / Flexible

Sacred Seal: Fierce Stance / Brazen Atk/Res / Atk Smoke / Spd Smoke

  • Bridal Micaiah’s can also perform quite well with a Vantage setup as the effects of both her Duo Skill and Joyful Vows (excluding its effect of follow-up negation) are not limited to a single phase, allowing her to maintain her phenomenal damage potential in the Enemy Phase as well. However, since Bridal Micaiah will still aim to land OHKOs here, an Attack Asset is once again the way to go.
  • Bridal Micaiah’s exclusive Assist skill, Sacrifice, can be kept here to safely enter her into Vantage range without requiring that she enter combat, which can be very useful given her pitiful physical bulk. However, one of her allies is still required to take damage beforehand, so Sacrifice’s effectiveness can be somewhat inconsistent.
  • Pairing a skill that enables counterattacks regardless of range with Vantage is a powerful strategy to cleanly sweep through all enemy types in the Enemy Phase upon losing enough HP. If using her in Aether Raids Offense, Close Foil will generally be preferred as dragonstone users are exceedingly rare on defense teams, but Close Counter can still be used should one wish to be safe and/or if using her in other content.
  • For her Special, low cooldown options like Glimmer and Moonbow activate frequently. Miracle grants Bridal Micaiah much-needed survivability since taking damage isn’t always avoidable, and her low Speed combined with her low Defense makes scenarios where she does have to take damage incredibly risky.
  • Smoke skills pair nicely with this build’s defensive playstyle, with Pulse Smoke being particularly effective in Aether Raids to dismantle Infantry Pulse setups. Otherwise, Atk Smoke or Spd Smoke should be used to increase her damage output on turns her Dominance is active. Res Smoke is unnecessary since she already debuffs enemy Resistance upon activating her Duo Skill.
  • Most Attack-increasing seals will work perfectly fine here. Fierce Stance is a standout as it requires no additional setup, but Brazen seals are options that synergize with Vantage’s HP threshold. Smoke skills can also be considered to make greater use of her Duo Skill effect.

Strengths

Joyful Vows

Bridal Micaiah’s Joyful Vows is a very simple weapon but highly effective weapon, making her well adept at dealing damage through a passive Attack +3, an additional +6 boost her Attack and Resistance when buffed, and effective damage against armor and cavalry foes; its ability to negate her foe’s follow-up attack is also a solid bonus that helps mitigate her frailty. Furthermore, the activation requirement for its effect is extremely easy to fulfill, and Bridal Micaiah can even do it herself for a turn by activating her Duo Skill.

Duo Hero

Bridal Micaiah benefits from access to an exclusive Duo Skill, with hers being exceptionally potent. In addition to debuffing any foes within three columns for -7 Defense and Resistance, it also applies Dominance on herself and any allies within the same radius. This translates to a massive boost in burst damage potential to herself and any ally affected, which lends itself to various strategies. Furthermore, as a Duo Hero, Bridal Micaiah has fantastic scoring potential in Colosseum modes as her BST will be counted as 185.

Exceptional Attack and Resistance

With a base Attack of 39 (and a four-point Asset in the same stat), Bridal Micaiah can hit incredibly hard and leave huge dents in enemy HP pools if not outright OHKO them with a single blow; this is only highlighted further by the damage-increasing properties of her PRF and Duo Skill. Bridal Micaiah’s 38 base Resistance is equally impressive and offers her great magical durability, as well as the ability to reliably use Specials that scale off it.

Colorless Coverage

Bridal Micaiah’s colorless typing is rather advantageous to her as it guarantees her neutral matchups against all foes (with the rare exception of units wielding a Raven effect), which allows her to be a much more consistent counter to enemy threats compared to her direct competition.

Flier

Her status as a mage flier grants her excellent mobility and range as well as access to class-exclusive buffs. This also enables her to equip a variety of movement-based skills such as Guidance and Ground Orders to further assist her team.

Highly Versatile

Thanks to Bridal Micaiah’s vast array of strengths at her disposal, the young maiden and her companion boast a surprising amount of versatility, as she has the ability to excel at a variety of different roles.

Weaknesses

Limited Skill Availability

Being a flier comes attached to the detriment of having horrible skill availability, particularly in terms of B slot skills which detracts from Bridal Micaiah’s potential. However, the sheer capabilities of her exclusive skills does help offset this to a significant degree.

Physically Frail

Maintaining her signature combination of mediocre HP and abysmal Defense like her other iterations, Bridal Micaiah is quite susceptible to incoming physical damage and is unlikely to survive more than a single hit from a physical hitter, especially since she must rely solely on her stats due to being colorless.

Effective Damage

Bridal Micaiah faces a serious weakness to archers as a flier, so such foes must be handled quickly to safeguard her longevity.

Duo Skill

Grants [Dominance] to uniut and allies within 3 columns centered on unit. Inflicts Def/Res -7 on foes within 3 columns centered on unit through their next actions. [Dominance] Unit deals additional damage = total penalties on foe for 1 turn.
