Analysis
PvE Stories Pros and Cons
Highest Attack in the Game
Fate's staggering Attack stat of 10,028 stands above the rest of the game's girls as the highest base Attack in the game, before factoring in Spirit Enhancement and Memoria. She hits like a truck, and her Light element ensures that the damage can't even be resisted. If she's targeting something, it may as well already be dead.
Great Connect
Damage Up and a high chance of a critical hit allows her to turn another girl on her team into a powerhouse, and really round out her great kit. Between her great Connect and her stats, the vast majority of enemies in story mode will crumple instantly. Ignore Evade is less broadly applicable, but can be a great help against some bosses.
Don't Count on Spirit Enhancement
Being a collab character, a rerun of Fate's gacha at a later date is unlikely at best. This means that, if she ever gets a Spirit Enhancement unlock, it will be a long time from now...even for the JP server, let alone the NA server. For those planning very far ahead, it should be noted that her Attack will slowly be overshadowed by those with access to Spirit Enhancement.
PvP Mirrors Pros and Cons
Still Hits Like a Truck
Unresisted Light damage coming off of her massive Attack still destroys opposing teams in Mirrors. And with Fate being released so early on in NA, it'll likely be a long time before most of the characters even coming close to her Attack are released. She'll be the premium choice for Mirrors attackers for a long time to come.
Connect is Even More Useful
Damage Inflicted Up and Critical Chance are even more helpful to have in frantic Mirrors battles, but what's more, her Connect also counters the Evade users that run rampant in Mirrors - saving your team from many frustrating losses due to bad RNG.
A Bit Frail
Fate is a bit of a glass cannon - not enough to be a major detriment, but she may have some trouble if any strong Dark attackers are somehow still alive after her turn. She'll also likely be targeted early and go down before most of her team. Make use of her crazy attack to clean up the other team before that happens!
Attack Will Eventually be Overshadowed
...a very long time from now. When Spirit Enhancement is eventually added to NA, she'll slowly slip down the ranks of "maximum Attack" charts, below the likes of Mami and Rena. Unfortunately, the chances of Fate herself ever getting visited by the Spirit Enhancement fairy are slim, so she will eventually become largely obsolete. This will be a very long time from now, however.
Memoria Recommendations
Fate is a bread-and-butter attacker, so give her some Memoria to boost her damage! Kyubey Knight Breaking Through is particularly applicable to her due to her 2 Charge and 2 Blast discs - her Puella combos are particularly likely to benefit from it. However, any damage-boosting Memoria will be very effective for her.
