Is it worth pulling from the New Years banner?

I am a new player and I managed to save 8k gems from the beginning and I been using a Ginyu Force team for missions, story, events and even pvp and not doing too bad. Now i feel like i need a more powerful team for both story and PvP. Is it worth using all my gems on this new banner or should I keep saving for a better one in the future with the hope of super Saiyan blue new characters?

you can not only get the new characters but also goku ssj 3, broly ssj and more!! you can get even more than from any other banner.

Yeah it was totally worth it I got all the featured ones and the new purple Broly. Even god Saiyan Goku and green sp coora. I will keep pulling from this banner until it ends. Anyone have a good team comp for that new god goku and kaioken goku?
