Gotta clarify been drivin me crazy.
in regards to Gotenks extra card
Ultimate Cards are not the same as Special Cards, and if a fighter draws an ultimate but is switched out for another fighter, that ultimate converts to a special.
In game, using an ultimate for challenges will not count as using a special, and the same goes for extras (which in-game challenges refer to as special skills).
The ultimate definitely doesn't not turn into a special (blue card) when switching characters. It simply drops off and is wasted, eventually a new random card is drawn. Same goes for those pink cards like self destruct or ginyu's body change.
I forget what those are called. Unique cards Quirk cards?
