Equipment drop rate?

Does the drop rate change if you do the more difficult stage? For example, there’s gold equipment in stage 4 and also in stage EX-4, will I get more gold equipment in EX-4? Basically I’m just asking if the higher the difficulty, the more drops? Thank you

Not necessarily. Sometimes EX offers higher drop rates. In many cases, the drop rate won't increase, but different and possibly more valuable items will be available.

For example, the latest Event: The Invincible Android #18's ch. 4 and EX-4 drop completely different items and equips.
