Wizards Unite Pro Tips

The game is still very new but there are some things that are important to keep in mind to get the most out of Wizards Unite right off the bat. These are those things. 

While it isn’t clear if certain Ingredients are rarer than others just yet, some will give you more than others when picking them up off the ground in the overworld map. Since there is a max capacity on ingredients inventory that will require spending real money to expand, you shouldn't hoard too many of the Ingredients that have a higher pickup value.

Typical of AR games, Wizards Unite can drain the battery fast, especially when Players leave AU on. Having AR doesn't actually affect gameplay unless you are using a Portkey, which require AR for the minigame. 

With this in mind, it's best to keep AR off unless using Portkeys. It never hurts to carry a portable phone charger either

It’s important to always use Baruffio’s Brain Elixir every 30 minutes while playing in order to get the most experience out of every Trace, Wizarding Challenge, and Portkey. Potion brewing unlocks at level 4 and potion Recipes unlock at even higher levels.

Baruffio’s Brain Elixir takes 12 hours to brew but this can be skipped by using gold or reduced by 15% by tapping the cauldron ladle and entering the following Master Notes sequence:

The Gold key is given to you as soon as you get your first Portmanteau and will never get used up like Silver keys. Using them on 2km Portmanteaus and saving silver keys for the 5km and 10km Portmanteaus will increase your unlock rate--which is especially important since you can only hold 8 Portkeys or Portmanteaus at a time and there is currently no way to increase that capacity in the Shop.
