  • SP Legendary Super Saiyan Broly BLU sticks with a motif that is common in Broly variants across many Dragon Ball licensed games: disruption through destruction. SP LSSJ Broly BLU leads the charge with stacking Damage Received Buffs and forced, albeit short, No Switching, even going after the Opponent's Card Draw Speed, all while stacking his own Damage Buffs from various sources. Many of these Abilities are also shared with EX LSSJ Broly YEL, who of which passes even more Damage Buffs to his Yellow and Blue Allies and has a complimentary if not incredibly similar kit to further the Zenkai Awakened Legendary Super Saiyan's efforts. The duo can be rounded out with SP Super Saiyan Youth Gohan YEL to form a devastating Yellow Color-Counter Team, all with the Ability to prevent the Opponent from Switching.
  • Even when SP LSSJ Broly is not on the field, the effects of his Z-Ability can be felt through SP Vegeta BLU, who is no stranger to unrelenting Offense and appreciates the high Strike Attack Z-Ability. SP Vegeta BLU Buffed by SP LSSJ Broly BLU is arguably more effective in battle than this Broly variant himself.

  • While the rest of the Team prioritizes Offense over utility, or even finds utility through Offense, SP FP Boujack PUR relieves the pressure of missteps in that reckless playstyle through his amazing Cover Ability, and his seemingly endless tricks that is more characteristic of Captain Jack Sparrow than an anime baddie.
  • The standard Sagas Warriors lineup of SP SSJ Youth Gohan YEL, SP Vegeta BLU, and this Boujack variant is still within this Team, and is only bolstered further by the odd Team combination. While SP FP Boujack PUR doesn't enjoy as many Z-Abilties as he does on the standard Sagas Warriors Team, he takes a step back and acts as captain to the supercharged beat sticks around him, using his fantastic kit and surprising potential to compliment his Sagas Warriors crew of Offensive nightmares.

  • Save for one, every Super Saiyan 2 Gohan variant has been a definitive force in the Meta, and this one is no different. SP SSJ Youth Gohan YEL is one of the few Fighters whose kit is just simply effective in the Dragon Ball Legends battle system, much in the same way that SP SSJ Bardock BLU, SP Zamasu RED, and SP Angry Goku BLU have all proven to be during their respective peaks. It will take a combination of direct counters and several rotations in the Meta to cycle out this devastating Fighter, who is able to operate independently to great effectiveness, as too much Support on this Fighter is almost cruel.
  • The Support garnered for this Gohan variant on this Team is fantastic; forming a tight Z-Synergy trio that allows the other half of the Team a little freedom in selection. EX LSSJ Broly YEL, SP Vegeta BLU, and SP LSSJ Broly BLU all have complimentary Offensive kits that synergize well with the young Super Saiyan. SP Full Power Boujack PUR is a master of momentum, bringing the combat loop back into the Offensive pocket that these Fighters thrive in.

  • Another in the line of Extremes who should have the tagline "I can't believe it's not Sparking!", EX LSSJ Broly YEL was the precursor to Zenkai Awakened SP LSSJ Broly BLU, stacking Damage Received Buffs and raising Card Costs for the Opponent, much in the same way that the former stacks Card Draw Speed Debuffs and Damage Received Buffs on the Opponent, and both have ways of preventing the Opponent from Switching as well as dealing pointed Damage to Goku variants. The two classic Broly Fighters form a dangerous partnership that is only made sweeter with the inclusion of SP Super Saiyan Youth Gohan YEL.
  • EX LSSJ Broly YEL's Z-Ability stacks a whopping 50% to Yellow Fighter's Strike Attack and Blast Defense, which forms a tight synergy pyramid between EX LSSJ Broly YEL, SP Paikuhan YEL -- who Buffs Yellow Health and Sagas Strike Defense -- and SP SSJ Youth Gohan YEL. The Yellow Sagas Warriors Trio has enough Z-Abilities between the three of them to cover every base stat besides Blast Attack, and the rarely Buffed Ki Recovery and Critical.

  • SP Vegeta BLU, the Super Saiyan who is too angry to die, is one of the last true users of Blast Armor. Not having it tied to just Extra Cards or Special Attacks, but to Strike Cards instead means he can play aggressively and then Heal back missteps with his also Blast Armor possessing Special Attack. Another Fighter with a simple kit that is just simply good.
  • SP Vegeta BLU can arguably make better use of SP LSSJ Broly BLU's Zenkai Z-Ability than the latter can himself, although the player may not have to choose. While the Yellow Color-Counter Team is the preferred lineup, a Blue Color-Counter Team can also be formed with SP LSSJ Broly BLU, SP Vegeta BLU, and SP FP Boujack PUR to great effectiveness, making this Team an unpredictable yet tightly synergetic Team to face during Fighter selection.

Team Discussion

Sagas Warriors was not a Team in need of a Zenkai Buff to perform well. In fact, several variations of Sagas Warriors exist, all of which could be endless analyzed as new Sagas Fighters appear on new banners -- which seems to be often.

Zenkai SP Legendary Super Saiyan Broly BLU's Offensive utility almost makes this Broly variant a Control Fighter, strapping chains on the Opponent's Combo potential and Defenses. Nearly every member on this Team has access to multiple useful tools and therefore each can play several roles and switch tactics on-the-fly, making this Team one of the more flexible of the traditionally rigid Color Counter-Teams.

Before the match even begins, this Team is already up to tricks. During Team Selection, this Team can from an effective Yellow Color-Counter Team, a  Blue Color-Counter Team, or a standard Yellow, Blue, Purple Sagas Warriors Team, only this time with more Offensive Support, so mind games can be played on Opponents before the match countdown.

  • The premiere Anti-Sagas Warriors Fighter who shares the Tag he destroys. SP Super Janemba RED is a fantastic option for stopping the Opponent's SP SSJ Youth Gohan YEL, and compliments this tactic with EX LSSJ Broly YEL's hatred of Hybrid Saiyans.
  • Not the first choice when it comes to Blue Vegeta variants, but this one also shares a Sagas Warrior Tag, which means he also benefits from SP LSSJ Broly BLU's hefty Zenkai Z-Ability.
  • Running both Sagas Warriors Vegeta Fighters along with SP Teen Trunks PUR -- who himself shares a Sagas Warriors Tag as well -- forms a tightly bonded Blue Color-Counter Team who can choose from the best of Sagas Warriors and Vegeta Family synergy. It should be noted that SP Super Saiyan Vegeta BLU is not recommended over SP Vegeta BLU if the latter is available, and should only be run paired with SP Vegeta BLU if he is available.
  • Not the first Purple choice for Sagas Warriors, but a close second. SP Teen Trunks PUR can edge out over SP FP Boujack PUR if a mostly Vegeta Family variant of Sagas Warriors is being built.
  • His Offensive synergy with both SP Vegeta BLU and SP SSJ Youth Gohan YEL is only amplified by SP Teen Trunks PUR's amazing Combo potential and Strike synergy. This Trunks variant is far from a bad choice, especially if he is in good company.
