These skills have a simple, straightforward effect: They magnify the effects of the weapon triangle, increasing the damage bonus and penalty from 20% to 40%. The effects of the skill make a user nearly invulnerable to units of the color they beat, but make them much more vulnerable to damage from their counter-color. This can make a unit a much more reliable counter to particular enemies.
The Raven tomes, which make a unit gain weapon triangle advantage vs. colorless, have their effects magnified with Triangle Adept. A unit with this combo can solidly counter two colors, giving them a large tactical advantage in games. Units with low combat stats, such as those with Sing and Dance skills are good candidates for this skill, boosting their combat effectiveness and allowing them to reliably beat certain foes.
Triangle Adept is a double-edged sword: they are easily defeated by units with weapon triangle advantage. Since enemy AI always moves towards enemies they are good against, they can be easily lured and KO’d by pairing up the appropriate units (for example when facing a red unit with Triangle Adept, pair up your green and blue units.
