  • His incredible Offensive proficiency is represented by his capability to impact Matches at any point, thanks to enormous Damage Buffs and great Ki management. Moreover, he’s a perfect counter to Fighters that can Heal, and more in general Regeneration Fighters.
  • Multiple Damage Reduction Buffs and high Defensive stats make him quite tough to put down.

  • He's a quite versatile Fighter, since he's both an great Offensive force and a decent ( but situational ) Defensive option.
  • While he doesn't Buff his Teammates through Ability Bonus, there isn't a single matchup where he's not in the main trio, so it's not really a big problem.

  • His Damage output is unimpressive in early Game, so he has to rely on the other Fighters on the Team to do the dirty work for him until he Transforms.
  • Becoming a Super Saiyan immediately increases his Offensive celing through the activation of some Damage Buffs. Other than that, His Special Move can be very impactful if used skillfully, and his Extra Move allows him to stay on the field for longer, which is key for his other Buffs to activate. As a Last Man Standing he's as dominant as it gets, since he reaches his Offensive Peak and receives crucial Heal, so he's very dangerous even in 1 vs 2 situations.

  • He's a well-rounded Offensive Fighter with Extra-Special Moves that make it easy for him to gain momentum.
  • Sadly, SP Angry Goku BLU replaces him as the main Blue of the Team, but the two of them can be used together in some cases

  • Offensively, he does well thanks to his stackable Buffs and his customizable Special Move. He's really hard to counter thanks to his neutral typing.
  • Despite having no consistent Damage Reduction Effect, he’s really durable and he’s able to Heal through his Main Ability, so overall he’s really hard to put down.

  • He's a great Strike focused Fighter thanks to the multitude of Offensive Buffs that he got in that sense after his Zenkai, so he fits the Team well.
  • While his Z-Ability might look useless at first, this Team generally suffered against strong Yellow Fighters prior to his release ( in particular, Android 18 is still a huge issue), so inflicting more Damage against them isn't the worst possible thing.

Saiyan is a very Offensive Strike based Team that is also kind of Durable since all its Core Fighters have either Damage Reduction or high Defense value. 

SP SSJ3 Goku PUR is by far the most reliable Fighter on the Team, since he’s just consistently tremendous to face for the opponents. His Damage Buffs increase as Matches go on, however even right off the bat he’s one of the strongest Offensive Fighters in the Game. Also, this Team had issues against the Regeneration Tag and strong Green Fighters, so SSJ3 Goku’s Zenkai is truly a god-sent release!

The other Core Fighters rotate around him depending on the matchup. Generally, SP Angry Goku BLU is his best partner, because he gets covered by SSJ3 Goku color wise and he's a very strong Offensive Fighter all around, especially in late Game. SP Youth Goku YEL should also be a popular pick thanks to his versatility and Endurance, although his dominance isn’t as noticeable as it was a few months ago. SP Vegeta (Majin) BLU can be used together with SSJ3 Goku and Namek Goku against Teams that don't have strong Green Fighters, for example it's a perfect lineup to counter Son Family or other Saiyan Teams.

The Team still lacks a good Red, which will be an issue as long as SP Android #18 YEL remains a Top Tier Offensive Fighter, specifically because she's particularly strong at breaking Saiyan bodies in half - Anti-Tag Unique Ability -. Nappa is an ok counter, also because his Z-Abilities increases Damage against YEL Fighters for the whole Team, but that's not enough against such a threatening Fighter.

Thanks to a few Zenkai releases, Saiyan climbed the Team Tier list and is now a Top Tier force, and it's only missing a more complete Color-wheel to become the best Team in the game.

He's a decent Offensive Fighter and also has a great Z-Ability for the Team, so he's a better option compared to SP SSJ4 Goku PUR ( who is better practically but has a much worse Z-Ability)

His synergy with Shallot makes him a fair alternative option for this Team, considering he's an amazing Fighter that fits well alongside SP Kid Goku YEL, just like SP Vegeta (Majin) BLU

Just like SP SSB Vegito BLU, she fits well on the Team because of her insanely high Melee Damage output. Overall, she's straight up better than SP SSJ Goku (RoC) GRN, but the latter has a much better Z-Ability for the Team.

His Special Move mechanic and Z-Ability come in handy, but generally he's not a very strong Fighter in the current Meta, as his Damage Buffs aren't that great.

His Transformed State is still quite oppressive, but just like SP Angry Goku BLU he's quite weak initially so it's better to use Fighters that are more constant than him. In any case, he still fits well since he's Strike Focused.

He's a better Fighter than SP Bardock RED as an alternative option, but his Z-Ability doesn't buff neither SP Vegeta (Majin) BLU nor HE Shallot LIG, so he mostly fits well alongside Vegito Blue in a Saiyan Build.
