  • His incredible Offensive proficiency is represented by his capability to impact Matches at any point, thanks to enormous Damage Buffs and great Ki management. Moreover, he’s a perfect counter to Fighters that can Heal, and more in general Regeneration Fighters.
  • Multiple Damage Reduction Buffs and high Defensive stats make him quite tough to put down.

  • He does good Damage and provides fantastic Support for his Super Saiyan Teammates right off the bat, but he reaches his Offensive peak during Mid Game, when he gets more Buffs and Arts Draw Speed.
  • He's no glass canon, as he's pretty durable in general and he can recover Health through his Extra Move.

  • His Damage output is unimpressive in early Game, so he has to rely on the other Fighters on the Team to do the dirty work for him until he Transforms.
  • Becoming a Super Saiyan immediately increases his Offensive celing through the activation of some Damage Buffs. Other than that, His Special Move can be very impactful if used skillfully, and his Extra Move allows him to stay on the field for longer, which is key for his other Buffs to activate. As a Last Man Standing he's as dominant as it gets, since he reaches his Offensive Peak and receives crucial Heal, so he's very dangerous even in 1 vs 2 situations.

  • He's a well-rounded Offensive Fighter that has immense ceiling. His long Combos are always a recipe for disaster for his opponents, since his Buffs become higher as he uses either Strike or Blast Cards. SP SSJ Bardock BLU makes him even scarier, so he's the perfect counter for SP Android #18 YEL.
  • His Extra Move may not be easy to use at all times, but when it works it puts the opponent in a really bad spot.

Discussion

Saiyan is a very Offensive Team that is also kind of Durable since all its Core Fighters have massive Defensive stats, since they're all Zenkai Fighters.

However, this Team's real main strength at the moment is having two diffferent really powerful lineups: Blue Color Counter, and a more standard trio with Gogeta replacing Angry Goku.

SP SSJ Bardock BLU Z7 thrives here. He's mainly a staple for the Super Saiyan Team, but he works well in this Saiyan Team since it's just so strong all around and the support he provides for two of the other three Fighters on the Core is incredibly useful. SP Angry Goku BLU and SP Super Gogeta RED  just become unstoppable thanks to him, especially to latter as he he's generally the stronger Offensive Fighter for most of the Match.

Only one of them should be used at a time, while the third Fighter should always be SP SSJ3 Goku PUR. This all around beast is the perfect choice to protect two Blue Fighter in a color counter setup, or complete any standard Team thanks to his Offensive greatness. He's probably the Fighter on the Team that needs Support the least, as he easily exceeds 100% Damage Buffs in most situations and has really Effective card-draw Mechanics, so SSJ Bardock not benefitting him is not much of a loss.

Blue Color Counter should be the pick in any matchup that doesn't have a good enough Green to counter it, , while Gogeta is especially needed against the likes of Androids - due to  Android #18 - and Regeneration - Demon King Piccolo and Majin Buu:Good screw up any Blue Color Counter lineup -. 

Saiyan is arguably on of the best Team in the Game, and it'll likely remain relevant for a long time since the influx of Saiyan Zenkais should remain constant.

His Supportive Effects are really amazing, but on his own he's so much weaker than any Zenkai Fighter on this Team's Core it's not even funny.

This Fighter is a menace when paired with Bardock, as his stackable Buffs and capability to stay on the field for long stretches become much more terrifying.

LF Fighters are in a weird spot in the Meta, they're so rare to pull that more times than not you'll have them at low stars, so they're not really a significant threat compared to Zenkai Fighters that have much higher stats. So, even if this Goku has really interesting Evade Mechanics that can be used in different ways, he's just an alternative compared to SP SSJ3 Goku PUR.

He's easily the best Green option for Saiyan, as his endless Combos make him a nigh limitless Offensive Fighter, the only issue is that its tricky to make him fit Ability Bonus wise in the current Saiyan Core. Still, he's a fantastic alternative.

He's basically budget Gogeta, since he's free and he's a valuable Fighter Offensively, but he's one-dimensional as his Blast Damage isn't that good.
