  • He's the best Fighter on this Team by quite a margin, since he's both an unstoppable Offensive force and a great Defensive option.
  • While he doesn't Buff his Teammates through Ability Bonus, there isn't a single matchup where he's not in the main trio, so it's not really a big problem.

  • He brings two Blast Cards to the Team’s Deck, which might not be ideal for most Fighters on this Team, so Players need to balance this through fitting Equips and Bench Z-Abilities.
  • He only really excels at entering the field and providing high fire power right off the bat through his Blast on entry, Ki Recovery and stackable Buffs that become even more deadly once his Main Ability is available.

  • This Fighter's Ki restore on switch and excellent personal Damage Buffs make him one of the strongest Offensive pivots in the game. Considering his Ultimate Move nullifies Damage Reduction, it's hard to stop him without color advantage.

  • He essentially has no flaws, since he’s consistently going to hit the opponent hard and Tank well, while also offering some deceptive Support thanks to his Strike Cards’ Debuffs. Goku can even function as the Team's assassin, picking off limping foes with his Special Arts Card on switch.

  • SP Saiyan Saga Goku BLU is one of the best Support Fighters in the game thanks to the permanent Offensive Buffs he can stack up for the whole Team and his Healing Ultimate Move. 

  • His Offensive potential shouldn’t be underestimated, he can even be a decent Last Man Standing thanks to his cumulative Buffs.

  • Offensively, his Blast oriented Offensive stats make him a good fit alongside SP FP SSJ4 Goku GRN, but that’s not the only pairing which makes HE Shallot LIG perform well in this Team, in fact SP Kid Goku YEL’s Support makes him a very good Offensive Fighter in any case.
  • Despite having no consistent Damage Reduction Effect, he’s really durable and he’s able to Heal through his Main Ability, so overall he’s really hard to put down.

Discussion

By replacing SP Kakarot Goku RED with SP Shallot LGT, this Saiyan Build effectively becomes an upgrade to the classic Goku Team. While this Build essentially keeps the same identity, HE Shallot LGT’s versatility is really helpful in multiple matchups.

To start with, the SP Kid Goku YEL - SP SSJ4 Goku PUR  - SP SSJ4 Goku GRN combo is still extremely solid. In fact, the three of them just work really well together as they make a fantastic Offensive trio with a lot of Ki Regain Effects as well as some decent Defensive tools. Replacing any of them with Shallot slows down the Team a little bit, but he’s needed in matchups where the Team struggles Color Wheel wise, so God Ki, Future and even Goku Team. In short, he’s a great option against many top Meta Teams.

What makes him particularly good is his high Defensive capabilities, in fact he’s able to Tank any heavy hit other than Rising Rush well, just beware of his pre-Transformation form since he’s really awful at that point ( which is a problem if one of his Teammates gets Comboed and needs to switch early ).

SP Kid Goku YEL is still the engine of this Team, providing stellar Offensive contribution through Support and hand-to-hand combat. Additionally, despite the multitude of Anti-Endurance Effects threatening him in the current Meta, he still remains a good Tank, especially against Rising Rushes.

Overall, this Team does very well in the current meta, thanks to its overall solidity and diversity.

 Overall, his Offensive potential is still one of the highest in the game, but he starts off really badly nowadays. Generally, SP Saiyan Saga Goku BLU being on the Team leads to a much faster paced Offense, which is greater than the utility SP Angry Goku BLU offers. Still, he's a nice alternative.

His Transformed State is still quite oppressive, but just like SP Angry Goku BLU he's quite weak initially so it's better to use Fighters that are more constant than him. In any case, he still fits well since he's Strike Focused.

SP Baby Vegeta GRN might not be especially beneficial to this Team's synergy when off the core, but when he's on it, his Ki and Damage Support Buffs can really come in handy.
