Overview

The first summonable ULTRA Rarity Fighter has made its way to Dragon Ball Legends and it’s non-other than Super Gogeta BLU. This Fighter is one of a kind in a multitude of ways. Super Gogeta BLU is the only Fighter in the game that can use their Ultimate Arts Card twice, Super Gogeta BLU is the only Fighter with the Attack Unique Gauge and can almost certainly always end his combos with his powerful Special Move Arts Card.

Defensively, he gets a 50% Damage Reduction once the battle begins and he can get up to 70% Damage Reduction once his gauge is filled for the next combo that he takes.

Super Gogeta BLU becomes the most oppressive Fighter in the game once an ally has been defeated as he locks the opponent in upon entry and removes his own unfavorable element factor for 10 timer counts. This allows him to pummel strong GRN Fighters and allows you to Rising Rush or land a full combo if they have no Vanish.

Strengths

Great Neutral

Super Gogeta BLU has blast armor on all of his Arts Card except Blasts Arts. This makes his neutral play better than most Fighters as he can punish incoming Blast Arts with relative ease. Not only that but Super Gogeta BLU has a “time-stop” Extra Arts which allows you to see the enemy’s oncoming attack.

You Can't Rush Me

Super Gogeta BLU has the same mechanic as SP Boujack RED where he reduces his allies sub-count by 5 timer counts if a Rising Rush is activated. This is incredibly potent with Endurance or Revival Fighters as it can ensure Gogeta’s safety while also allowing you to tank a Rising Rush.

The Ultimate Avenger

As mentioned in the Overview, Super Gogeta BLU becomes the most oppressive Fighter in the game once an ally has been defeated. If the enemy has used their vanish before killing an ally, there is zero counterplay to Gogeta once he enters the battlefield unless you have a Rising Rush. GRN Fighters won’t be able to do anything as he removes his own unfavorable element factor. This is one of the most broken mechanics in the entire game and it gets even stronger if two allies are defeated as he’ll be able to draw another Ultimate Arts Card to do massive amounts of Damage.

Otherworldly Warrior

Super Gogeta BLU gets 100% Damage Inflicted once the battle begins and he’s the only Fighter that does so, fitting for the first summonable ULTRA Fighter. Super Gogeta BLU becomes crazy when you factor in his attack gauge where it fills up with every Arts Card that he uses while on the battlefield and it can be filled an infinite number of times. Once his gauge is filled, he gets 40 Ki, restores his health by 15%, and draws a Special Move Arts Card next. 

His Special Move Arts Card is one of the better Special Moves in the game. It destroys the enemy’s entire hand if it lands which forces the enemy to wait after Gogeta finishes a combo on them.

Gogeta’s Gauge in combination with his Special Move Arts makes for a devastating combo and is partly the reason why he’s considered to be broken.

Anti-Endurance

Super Gogeta BLU can nullify endurance for 60 timer counts in total in a battle through the use of his Ultime Arts Card. His Ultimate Arts, upon landing, gives him 30 timer counters of being able to nullify endurance and he draws two of them during a match.

This is insanely valuable for the current meta where endurance is the main form of Rising Rush control and Gogeta simply doesn’t care about it.

Weaknesses

No Penetrate Cut

It’s surprising to see that they purposefully didn’t give Super Gogeta BLU any penetrate cut on his Special Move or Ultimate Arts. This becomes evident when Fighters with Damage Cut swap in and take the Damage from either his Special Move or Ultimate Arts. 

Team Synergy

Super Saiyans

Super Gogeta BLU has propelled the Super Saiyan team to new levels of broken, similar to the Holy Trinity team back in 2019. SP SSJ Bardock BLU allows Gogeta to one combo most Fighters in the game with relative ease, even GRN Fighters. The combination of SP SSJ Bardock BLU, Super Gogeta BLU, and SP SSJ Vegito PUR is one of the most devastating teams to go up against as their Damage is out of this world. You beg to question if type advantage even matters with how much Damage this team does.

Fusion Warrior

Similar to Super Saiyans, Super Gogeta BLU has put Fusion Warriors back on the map in the current meta. Super Gogeta BLU works incredibly well with SP LL SSJ4 Gogeta GRN in the current meta as they’re among the top 5 Fighters in the entire game. SP Majuub YEL acts as the team’s Rising Rush control and is a great disruptor. Gogeta’s Bojack-like unique also synergizes incredibly well with Majuub. 

Movies

Super Gogeta BLU’s release has shifted the Sagas From The Movies team from a traditional 3 color team to a Purple-Purple-Blue team. SP LL SSB Goku and Vegeta PUR, SP SSJ Youth Gohan(Revival) PUR, and Super Gogeta BLU make for an incredible synergetic combination. Super Gogeta BLU synergizes with Revival Gohan due to the reduction of sub-count when a Rising Rush is activated and SP LL SSB Goku and Vegeta PUR can deal with pesky YEL Fighters due to the tag switch mechanic. 

Once Revival Gohan revives, the team becomes an absolute powerhouse with 3 of the highest Damage dealers in the game.

If this character is not the Leader, applies the following effects to self per "Tag: Fusion Warrior" battle/support member when battle starts:

+5% to damage inflicted (cannot be cancelled).
+5% to Ki Recovery (cannot be cancelled).
*Up to 3 support members will be counted.

Supreme Otherworld-Shattering Power

Applies the following effects to self when battle starts:

+100% to damage inflicted (cannot be cancelled).
Reduces damage received by 50% (cannot be cancelled).
Increases Arts Card Draw Speed by 1 level (cannot be cancelled).

While this character is on the battlefield, charges own Unique Gauge every time they use an Arts Card.
Once the Unique Gauge is full, it resets to zero and applies the following effects to self:

Draw a Special Move Arts Card next.
Restores health by 15% and Ki by 40.
+20% to damage inflicted for 15 timer counts (cannot be cancelled).
Reduces next damage sustained by 20% (cannot be stacked) (applies until enemy combo is finished).

Ultimate Avenger

When 2 allies are defeated, randomly destroys one of your own Cards and draws the Ultimate Arts Card "Soul Punisher" next.

The following effects occur when this character enters the battlefield if there is a defeated battle member:

Nullifies own unfavorable Element factors for 10 timer counts (activates twice).
Inflicts all enemies with "No Switching" for 5 timer counts (activates twice).

Shortens allies' substitution counts by 5 when enemy activates Rising Rush while this character is on the battlefield.

+20% to damage inflicted against "Tag: Powerful Opponent" or "Episode: Sagas From the Movies" (cannot be cancelled).

Knocks enemy back to long range if a cover change is performed against their Strike Arts attack (activates during assists).

Recommended Soul Boosts
