SP Young Nappa PUR may seem like a joke Fighter at first, but he makes a name for himself as a significant Saiyan Tag Support Fighter.
While his primary role is offering Support Buffs to allies, specifically Vegeta and Kids Tag Allies, Young Nappa’s capacity to utterly handicap enemy combos and spread Attribute Downgrades gives him unique utility in combat.

If there’s one thing Young Nappa is known for, it’s how great he is with children. SP Young Nappa PUR leverages his field of study to give additional Damage Bonuses to Kid Tag allies, as well as Vegeta Allies, who never truly grew out of their childish tendencies.Â

While SP Young Nappa PUR’s defenses are not horrible, his Offensive abilities are sorely lacking. His Support Fighter nature helps him make up for this deficiency by improving the efficacy of the Allies he switches into, but if he is unable to switch, he cannot hold his own.Â
In Crisis scenarios, SP Young Nappa PUR is all but guaranteed to lose assuming each player is equally skilled, as none of his kit gives him an advantage in the neutral, and the only way he can increase his own Damage is dependant on enemy behavior.Â

SP Young Nappa PUR is the premier Saiyan Tag Support Fighter, and as a result, his presence is valuable on any Saiyan Team. While the Saiyan Tag is not wanting for Purple Fighters, SP Young Nappa PUR slides onto this Team seamlessly, providing Support off the battlefield as well with his Strike Attack and Defense boosting Z-Ability
Sagas From the Movies
On this Tag, SP Young Nappa PUR can act as a Support Fighter and Ki Battery, though his Saiyan-focused Z-Ability will limit the amount he can contribute to the Team’s ability bonus.Â

SP Young Nappa PUR does fit onto the Frieza Force Team decently well, though he lacks the ability to truly excel on it due to his Z-Ability’s lack of synergy with the Tag’s best Fighters.Â
