Overview

  • In this encounter, face off against Tam Lin Lancelot, who has three HP bars (196k, 239k, 268k HP)!
  • Two NPC Support Servants will be mandatory for this quest. Unfortunately, neither Senji Muramasa nor Cu Chulainn (Caster) are particularly well-suited for this battle given their Classes, although they can still absorb an NP or few from the boss.
  • The boss gains MAX NP Gauge every turn! Their NP hits a single target, which makes Taunt effects highly desirable for this fight. Without protection, she likely will defeat a Servant every turn, especially with the NP Damage buff she starts with.
  • On first break, the boss gains Sure Hit for 1 turn, rendering any Evade skills ineffective. Invincibility / Anti-Enforcement Defense are still viable.
  • On second break, the boss gains Invincible for 1 turn, which makes Ignore Invincible effects useful if trying to burst her down ASAP.

Team Recommendations

  • Single target Saber Damage Dealers are the premiere pick for this encounter. Other options such as Berserkers are also viable.
  • Trait-Bonus Damage Dealer options make for a good choice. Some strong contenders that have both trait and Class bonus include Sigurd and Beni-Enma.
  • Taunt Support is extremely valuable for this fight, due to Melusine likely being able to erase one Servant every turn if the party isn't otherwise protected. Redirecting damage away from the primary damage dealer will ensure that they'll be available to deal heavy damage to the boss. Due to how taunt works, if only a single ally has Taunt active, and Melusine kills them with her NP, she will not use her other 2 actions for the turn because all valid ("Taunt active") targets are dead.
  • NP Gauge and Damage Support are helpful as always, with Altria Caster (x2 can be brought to this encounter), Skadi, Merlin, and Tamamo all being great choices depending on the damage dealer's Card color of choice.
