Overview

  • This is a rather difficult quest against two break bar Berserkers, both of which have a 160-170k first HP bar and a 570-580k second HP bar.
  • Both enemies have effects after being defeated, with Penthesilea being arguably the more dangerous of the two if left alive. Try to eliminate both at once, although if that cannot be done, defeat Penthesilea first (the one further back).
  • ATK Debuff for first 3 turns - all enemies and allies with start with a 3 turn ATK debuff via a field effect. If Penthesilea's first HP bar is depleted before the 3 turns expire, she will manually remove this debuff from everyone. Although this makes it more difficult to burst them down on the first turn, this arguably also helps the party survive their otherwise highly damaging attacks initially.
  • Both enemies are Debuff Immune for the first 3 turns, while also having an ATK buff that increases their ATK the lower their HP is. They also may frequently use a skill that grants them Debuff Immunity, so avoid using debuffs while they have the effect active.
  • Random field effects each turn will occur, some of which are helpful, although they tend not to be huge gamechangers. There are three possibilities:
    • 1) DEF and HP regen for all enemies and allies
    • 2) Buster and Damage Cut for both Berserker of El Dorados
    • 3) NP Gain and NP Gauge per turn for female members of the party
  • ST NPs - Both enemies deal high single target damage, and have single-target Noble Phantasms, making taunt particularly effective.
  • Penthesilea gains 100% Crit Rate after break, along with additional NP charge each turn and a Buster buff, all unremovable. She is almost guaranteed to kill every hit post-break if party members are not properly defended.
  • Amazones CEO's break effect is less threatening, decreasing DEF for the party but also increasing ATK for the party, which is somewhat beneficial. However, she also will gain an additional NP charge each turn and remove defensive buffs on the party after break.
  • On Death effects: If one of the enemies is eliminated, they will continue to help the surviving one at the end of each turn if they aren't eliminated simultaneously:
    • Amazones CEO: Increase Penthesilea's NP gauge by an extra 1 tick at end of each turn (becomes +3 NP charge per turn after break).
    • Penthesilea: Deals 4,000 flat damage to a random frontline Servant at the end of each turn.

Team Recommendations

  • AoE Damage Dealers are favored to help make it easier to eliminate both enemies at once. Damage Dealer class is flexible in this case, given both enemies are Berserkers. It may be helpful to employ Servants that have trait bonuses against any of their traits (Divine, Female, Weak to Enuma Elish, Heaven or Earth, King). Several suggestions are in the table below.
  • Note both enemies will preferentially target [Greek Mythology Male] trait Servants (although Taunt takes priority). This can be helpful (if acting as Support) or detrimental (if acting as primary damage), so keep this in mind when selecting Servants.
  • Taunt Support is crucial for this fight. Both enemies will start to hit hard after the first three turns are up / after break, and have highly damaging ST NPs. Being able to redirect damage away from the primary damage dealer is crucial for making this fight more consistent. Georgios, Leonidas, and Mash are all excellent easily-accessible options.
  • Damage / NP Gauge Support such as Merlin, Skadi, Tamamo, or Waver are all great choices depending on the selected damage dealer's card type. The battle becomes a sprint to take down the enemy ASAP after the ATK debuffs disappear, so being able to quickly unleash NPs will help a great deal.
    • Note when taking damage support, avoid bringing debuffs since both enemies will be completely debuff immune for the first 3 turns.
  • Invincibility / Evade Support are useful for this fight; both enemies have no Sure Hit or Ignore Invincibility effects, so either defensive measure is equally effective.
