Overview

  • Enroll in an impromptu cooking lesson with Beni-Enma and her other students in this first challenge quest!
  • This quest has three waves, each with its own unique gimmicks.
  • It's entirely possible to completely ignore Beni-Enma's cooking lesson and just speed run the encounter in 4 turns if your party deals enough damage.

Wave 1: To pass the cooking lesson, hit the Wyvern so that it has between 15-24 trait stacks before killing it. Having too few or too many stacks counts as under/overcooking the Wyvern and results in a fail.

  • Succeeding this wave gives the party a perma-30% Buster buff.
  • The Wyvern has 80% Damage Resist permanently.
  • The other enemies in the wave will put additional trait stacks on the Wyvern if they are alive, which can be helpful.
    • Kiyohime only puts one Roast stack when the battle starts.
    • Archer of Inferno will put 3 Roast stacks every even turn.

Wave 2: To pass this lesson, kill the Shark ASAP (within 1-3 turns).

  • Succeeding this wave gives the party a perma-30% Arts + Quick buff.
  • Being slower gives progressively worse rewards, and if the party takes 10+ turns, they will get penalized with an NP Seal.

Wave 3: Beni-Enma (Saber) will be alone in the final wave with 2 HP bars (362k, 390k). She starts with two 25% Damage Resist buffs.

  • For each previous cooking lesson correctly completed, Beni-Enma will lose a Damage Resist buff.
  • On break, Beni-Enma gains unremovable rainbow Card buffs.

Team Recommendations

  • When selecting a damage dealer, Archers and Extra Classes having the best offensive class advantage spread in this encounter, especially with the boss at the end being Saber (and enemies cover all basic Classes except for Lancer).
  • Single Target Archer damage dealers are particularly effective for dealing with Beni-Enma in the third wave.
  • Extra Class AoE damage dealers are also a decent option, especially with good offensive support available. Video examples below show some powerhouse support setups with an AoE damage dealer.
  • NP and Damage Supports are great as always, helping the damage dealer reach high enough thresholds to deal with each wave effectively. With enough damage, it is entirely possible to finish this encounter without properly doing the cooking lesson in Wave 1.
  • Taunt Support is useful if trying to do Beni-Enma's cooking lessons properly, particularly for the first wave. Keeping Archer of Inferno alive helps speed up the Wyvern cooking process, but the Master will want a taunt Servant as insurance to make sure she doesn't kill the damage dealer with her single target NP.
