Christmas 2023 - Challenge Guide 2: Hello, Joulopukki

Requirements: The Main Quest line for the Event and Lostbelt 6: Avalon le Fae must be completed before this quest can be attempted.

• Skadi joins in on the gift-giving fun in the second Challenge Quest of Christmas 2023! Note that the quest requires Lostbelt 6 to be cleared before it unlocks.
• Although the thresholds are high, it is possible to ignore the gimmicks of this battle and clear it in two turns (see video links). This encounter can also be soloed.
• This encounter has the special "Naughty Child" gimmick, where various party members can be given this trait depending on their actions in battle:
  • Attacking Skadi or Habetrot gives "Naughty Child" for 2 turns.
  • Habetrot also randomly tattles on an Evil alignment Servant in the frontline (if available) every turn, giving them "Naughty Child" for 3 turns.
  • "Naughty Child" gives 35% bonus damage against Oni (which applies only to the Berserker in this encounter).
  • "Naughty Child" is also stackable! Servants can deal even more damage against the Berserker by performing many actions that tag them as a "Naughty Child".
  • "Naughty Child" counts as a debuff, and can be cleared by anything that clears debuffs (such as Altria Caster's NP).
• Three enemies will be on field for this encounter:
• Skadi has two break bars of 417k and 460k herself.
  • She has 50% Damage Resist against any "Naughty Child" Servants.
  • Every turn, she grants a helpful buff to any Servants that are not "Naughty Child" trait, randomly being HP restoration, 10% NP Gauge, or 5 Crit Stars.
  • On break, she charges her allies' NP to MAX, and also provides the Master's party with 50% NP Gauge regardless of trait.
• Habetrot only has a single HP bar of 646k HP.
  • She also has a 50% Damage Resist against any "Naughty Child" Servants due to Skadi's battle start skill.
  • She will charge all allies' NP Gauge each turn by 1, while also permanently decreasing all of her allies' NP damage by 50% while she's on the field.
• Taiouki (the giant Berserker) is Oni-trait and has two HP bars of 669k, and 803k HP.
  • Taiouki has perma-50% Damage Resist, regardless of trait. It also deals 30% more damage against "Naughty Child", and separately 30% more damage against Evil-alignment Servants.
  • On its turn, if any targets have "Naughty Child", it will drain a random "Naughty Child"'s NP by 50% and charge its own gauge by 1.
  • On break, it gains a further 30% bonus damage against "Naughty Child" trait, reaching a total of +60% damage.

• AoE damage dealers, particularly of Rider, Alter Ego, Berserker, or Extra classes are particularly desirable for this fight, since there are three enemies who are all on field at once, of mixed Cavalry classes.
  • Some trait bonuses that can come in handy are:
  • Heaven or Earth - All three of the enemies fall into this category (Skadi is Heaven; Habetrot and the Oni are both Earth).
  • Demonic/Giant/Super Giant - The largest and most durable enemy in this encounter, the Berserker, also has these traits.
• Evil-Alignment damage dealers can be a good choice, since Habetrot will help stack additional "Naughty Child" buffs on the Evil Servant, further boosting their damage against the Berserker boss.
• NP and Damage Supports are greatly helpful in this encounter, to help the DPS deal enough damage to bring down all of the boss's chunky HP bars. This is especially the case because no damage bonus event CEs are available.
