Overview
- Face off against the hosts of the Battle in New York 2024 Event, Tesla, Gilgamesh, and Gilgamesh (Caster)! Both Gilgameshes have two HP bars, while Tesla has three HP bars.
- This is a relatively straightforward challenge quest with a minor gimmick based around Critical Stars that the party has each turn.
- Tesla will gain NP charge each turn, and depending on the amount of Critical Stars the party has, the value gained will vary:
- Less than 39 Stars: NP Gauge +1, NP Damage +10%.
- 40 or more Stars: NP Gauge to MAX, NP Damage +50%.
- Attacking either Gilgamesh will grant the party 5 Stars per hit, which can be a double edged sword due to Tesla's special effect each turn.
- After 1st break, Tesla gains the ability to Stun with normal attacks. The stun is chance based and is only 20%, although it is undesirable regardless. Note this buff is removable.
- After 2nd break, Tesla stuns a random party member. Additionally, he removes all defensive buffs from that target.
- Gilgamesh's break gives him 90% Buster Resist, rendering Buster attacks relatively ineffective. He also gains MAX NP Gauge every turn and increased ATK/NP Damage/Ignore Invincible. Note his buffs are removable.
- Gilgamesh Caster's break gives him 90% Arts Resist, rendering Arts attacks mostly ineffective. He gains sizable DEF, Crit Rate, and Crit Strength buffs, along with an extra Crit Rate buff each turn. Note his buffs are also removable.
Team Recommendations
- Non-Buster Lancer AoE Damage dealers are suggested due to Gilgamesh's high Buster Resist post break bar, and to deal with Tesla.
- Non-Arts Rider Damage dealers can be used to deal with Caster Gilgamesh.
- Quick AoE Damage dealers are also a great choice since they don't have to worry about either of the Card type resistances.
- Buff Removal Support is another alternative to bring to bypass the Resistances, since both Gilgameshes' Buster/Arts Resist buffs are removable.
- Debuff Clear Support can also be helpful if unlucky enough for the Stun on Tesla's 2nd break to hit the damage dealer, or if the field effect's NP/Skill Seal effects occur unfavorably.
- The Event Damage CE is also great to bring on the main damage dealer, to help make sure they deal enough damage to bring down the bosses quickly.
- Damage / NP Gauge Support is helpful as always, with the usual culprits of Altria Caster, Merlin, Koyanskaya of Light, Oberon, Skadi, and Waver being solid choices.
