A Super Warrior’s Struggle CO-OP Event has brought us three Super Warrior Fighters and one of them is the former Desert Bandit, EX Yamcha RED. EX Yamcha RED excels in his Blast Damage, can easily string together long combos, and is the main Damage dealer on the newly formed Super Warrior Team.
Defensively, he doesn’t have much to offer, especially with his RED color typing in this SP SSGSS Vegito BLU dominant meta.
EX Yamcha RED’s unique abilities grant him -15 cost to his Blast Arts Cards, 100% Blast Damage Inflicted, and +1 Arts Card Draw Speed if certain conditions are met. All of these tools allow him to be a monster in the early stages of a match by dealing good damage with long combos which can garner an early Rising Rush.
His Main Ability can prevent switches for 10 timer counts while also restoring 50 ki to continue combos. This has a lot of possible uses, especially in PvP: lock an Enemy to land a Rising Rush to avoid Cover Changes or abuse an empty Vanish-Step Gauge to perform full Combos against a helpless Enemy. The window is narrow but if played correctly, it can decide the fate of certain Matches.

EX Yamcha RED has no strike damage inflicted buffs so his strike damage is going to be at all times.
Reliance on Teammates
EX Yamcha RED requires 3 living Super Warrior allies to gain his 50% Blast Damage Inflicted and +1 Arts Card. While this does include himself, it means that Yamcha struggles when his comrades start dropping, resulting in mediocre late-game damage.
EX Yamcha RED is the primary RED option in the newly formed Super Warrior Team alongside EX Krillin PUR and EX Tien GRN. EX Yamcha is a key part of the team seeing as he is their main damage dealer with his high blast damage and long combos. Yamcha provides his allies with a boost to Strike and Blast Attack with his Z-Ability at 6 stars and beyond, which will see him as a relevant unit for a long time.
