SP Launch RED is a very unexpected release, as most of the community didn't expect a Female Fighter to be released before Valentine’s Day. Even so, SP Launch RED has one of the most unique Extra Arts in the game and devastating Blast Damage as the main focuses of her toolkit. With this, she looks to improve the Female Warrior and Dragon Ball Saga Tags.


Guns Blazing

SP Launch RED is a blast-oriented Fighter and her toolkit is similar to that of SP FPSSJ4 Goku GRN. She draws a Blast Arts upon entering the battlefield which is useful in keeping a combo going. For each Blast Arts that she uses, she gets a huge 30% Blast Damage Inflicted up effect which can ramp up very quickly.

This effect would have been even more dangerous if she had a basic Card Draw Speed increase, but instead, she gets a +2 Card Draw increase if she vanishes an opponents’ attack which, if used correctly, could be incredibly devastating.

Overall, SP Launch RED is one of the best Blast Damage dealers in the game.

Mystery In A Sneeze

SP Launch RED’s Extra Arts is one of the most unique Extra Arts as it completely changes how she is played. She can switch out to another Fighter at any moment, regardless of their substitution count, which can be used to gain type advantage on an opponent, gain a full vanish gauge, etc.

Her Extra Arts also provides support in the form of a 30% Damage Inflicted increase and restores 50 ki. This is a nice touch as it improves her versatility.

No Rising Rush For You

SP Launch RED’s ability to reduce your opponent’s Dragon Balls(by 3) is a very oppressive ability as using your Rising Rush is usually a necessity in a PvP Match.

This ability, more times than not, will result in you using your Rising Rush before your opponent which will give you a huge advantage in the early stages of a match.


Low Strike Damage

SP Launch RED’s Strike Attack stat is fairly low, ranked 81st amongst all Fighters in the game and she only increases her Strike Damage output with her main ability which gives 40% Damage Inflicted. If you use Strike Arts with this Fighter, you can expect to do subpar Damage.


Even though she gets a 35% Damage Reduction, her Defense stats are too low for it to be of much use. She still dies fairly easily against most Fighters in the game.

Team Synergy

Female Warrior

SP Launch Red is the primary RED Fighter for the Female Warrior Tag even though she does not buff the Tag. The Female Warrior team was in desperate need of a RED Fighter due to the increased usage of Zenkai 7 SP Android 18 YEL. Launch primarily adds offense to the team with a decent amount of utility in the form of her Extra Arts.

Dragon Ball Saga

It’s very disappointing to see that SP Launch RED only buffs Dragon Ball Saga at 6 stars, nevertheless she is a staple on this team. Alongside SP Bandit Yamcha GRN and Zenkai 7 SP Demon King Piccolo YEL, they are masters at manipulating the Rising Rush and should not be taken lightly even if the team is not as good as other teams in the meta.

Unique Ability

Menacing Woman

Applies the following effects to self when this character enters the battlefield:

Draw a Blast Arts Card next.
+40% to damage inflicted (cannot be stacked).
Reduces damage received by 35% (cannot be stacked).

The following effects occur when this character evades an enemy attack with a Vanishing Step:

Draw a Special Arts Card next (activates once).
Increases own Arts Card Draw Speed by 2 levels for 5 timer counts.

Okay... Whose idea was this?!

+30% to Blast damage inflicted for 10 timer counts every time this character uses a Blast Arts.
Gain Attribute Upgrade "-15% to enemy's 'Sustained Damage CUT' effects" for 10 timer counts upon landing a Strike or Blast Arts hit.
Inflicts all enemies with 2 substitution counts when enemy switches characters while this character is on the battlefield.
