Overview

EX Android #13 RED is another one of these Fighters that primarily looks to make Color Counter Teams more viable. His Z-Ability and toolkit all gear him and his teammates towards being part of either Red Color Counter Team or even Purple Color Counter Teams

That being said, he’s still a solid core choice for Sagas From the Movies Teams and a nice replacement for SP Fusion Android #13 RED in the Android Team if a Player has not acquired him.

Strengths

Final Awakened Android

He starts off the game with a massive 70% Damage reduction Buff which applies until he’s attacked at any point. This may seem like a bit of a gimmicky Ability, but is quite advantageous for EX Android #13 RED.

It can more or less negate the first Combo received, or eat a Rising Rush quite reliably as long as he starts off the Match on the sidelines. Starting with EX Android #13 RED is a bad idea as he is susceptible to Tap Strikes, and any attack will consume his one-time Damage Reduction.

After this Damage reduction Buff wears off, he gets a permanent 30% Strike Attack Buff and increased Arts Card Draw Speed for 30 timer counts.

High Z-Ability Percentages

Any Red or Green Fighter will benefit a lot from his Z-Ability at 5 stars, which gives a massive 40% Strike Attack and Defense to both of those colors. Even if he's not to be used on core, this Ability makes him a key member of RRG Color Counter benches.

Best Equipment

EX Android #13 RED arguably has the best Equip options in the game in Show yourself, monster!, Awakened This Should Be Fun!, and Awakened Too Bad! You Were Close. This selection gives him stats that surpass those of most Sparking Fighters.

Weaknesses

Rare

Following the trend of most good EX Rarity Fighters, limit breaking him to a respectable amount of stars will remain a huge challenge. Multi Z-Power enables players to access him at high Limit Break levels, though reaching those levels will take some time. 

Situational

Since he’s geared towards Color Counter Teams and benefits certain colors, there will be games where he might be needed, but a Green or Purple might not. While still a good Sagas From the Movies core Fighter, not every game will require ideal colors for him.

Fighters that benefit the most from his presence are losing relevance, which is especially true for SP Super #17 GRN and SP Android #14 GRN. #13's lack of strong off-color Teammates damages his viability, as he's only as good as the Green and Red Fighters he's paired with.

Team Synergy

Red Color Counter

This isn’t necessarily his best Team, but it’s the one he synergizes the most with. He gets huge Damage Boosts when he's paired with Red and Green Fighters, and gives them many Damage Buffs in return via his Main Ability as recompense. 

SP Fusion Android #13 RED is definitely the unevolved #13's best friend, as with the Support Base #13 provides, Fusion #13's Combos and Ultimate Arts Card especially become devastating.

SP Android #14 GRN is an incredible partner for him as well, and he can deal with problematic Blast Arts by transforming them when he enters the field. 

Sagas From The Movies

This Tag doesn’t have the greatest Red Fighters, so he can function on Color Counter Cores that utilize members of this Tag like SP Goku GRN and SP Super Janemba RED.

His Support makes them much stronger in most match-ups, though the match-up dependent effectiveness of those Fighters gives this version of the Team lackluster versatility.

Unique Ability

The Final Awakened Android

Reduces next damage sustained by 70% when battle begins.
This applies until enemy combo is finished.

Applies the following effects to self after enemy attack is over (activates once):

+30% to Strike damage inflicted.
Increases Arts Card Draw Speed by 1 level for 30 timer counts.

Hardwired Hatred

+20% to damage inflicted against "Character: Goku" (cannot be cancelled).

+15% to damage inflicted (cannot be cancelled).
