Overview
While a nearly indestructible force in the Saiyan Saga Z, EX Nappa RED’s time has long passed and he’s currently not the underrated Melee Fighter with high Health and Blast Defense he once was.
Despite being older, he does carry an interesting Z-Ability that specifically increases Damage to a certain Color, Yellow. This, in turn, can make him an intriguing bench option for any Team if a powerful Yellow Fighter arrives and changes the Meta significantly.
Strengths
Anti-Yellow Z-Ability
This kind of Z-Ability is very unique and something similar is currently only used by the other Nappa variant. Teams that don’t have a strong Red option can throw EX Nappa RED on the bench to make dealing with a formidable Yellow Enemies much easier. This helps his longevity which would otherwise be non-existent.
Weaknesses
Not PVP Viable
EX Nappa RED’s stats and viability have naturally dissipated over time, and he’s no longer an option to bring into PVP.
Glass Cannon
High Strike Attack output, very low Blast Attack and all Defense stats, a timer based third Unique Ability, and unoptimized Arts Cards not only make this Fighter a glass-cannon but also further reduce the time he’s most effective in a Match.
Team Synergy
Saiyan
His Z-Ability increases Damage against Yellow Fighters and the Vegeta variant requirement would be satisfied here. EX Nappa RED may not be PVP Competitive anymore, but still has some very small niche value, which is all an old EX Rarity Fighter like him could have at this point.
Red Color Counter
His Z-Ability doesn't limit him to Saiyan benches, so he's a great for any Red Color Counter, regardless of its Tag Build.
