Overview
EX Master Roshi BLU is a very welcome addition to the game and to the Dragon Ball Saga Team, as he provides a good amount of utility and support with his well-balanced toolkit.
Strengths
Sub-count Manipulator
EX Master Roshi BLU’s toolkit really emphasizes the ability to increase the opponent’s sub count while simultaneously reducing yours which is a very nifty ability. With this, you’ll be able to cycle through your characters almost 2x as fast as your opponent which can be used in very strategic ways.
Old Man Support
EX Roshi BLU also has support capabilities. When switched to standby he restores Ki by 20 and gives a 15% Damage Inflicted buff which is like a weakened version of SP Vados GRN support. He also debuffs the enemy every time he enters the battlefield which can help his teammates do more Damage. He also has extra support with the use of his Extra Arts which gives a Damage and Special Move Damage inflicted buff.
Females Stand No Chance
EX Master Roshi BLU is a very interesting Fighter to bring against Female Fighters as he’ll always have Ki to do combos. He gets 100 Ki when faced with a Female enemy which can be used to continue a combo, catch your opponent with a Special Move Arts Card, etc.
Weaknesses
Poor Stats
EX Master Roshi BLU has very bad stats. His Strike and Blast Attack stats don’t crack the top 100 amongst all Fighters in the game and his HP and Defense Stats are even worse. They don’t break the top 200 which makes him a defensive liability.
Team Synergy
Dragon Ball Saga
EX Master Roshi BLU is the best BLU Fighter that the Dragon Ball Saga Team has. Even so, he’s not someone you’d bring into every match as his Stats make him a liability in this Zenkai-filled meta. Nevertheless, he can provide some support and utility to help the team out.

This Equip helps Roshi's Strike Damage through a Pure Strike Buff, please note that it requires a Regeneration Fighter, like Demon King Piccolo, to activate the Buffs or a Purple Fighter.
Normally, 2 Pure Equips would not be recommended on a non-Zenkai Fighter, however due to the lack of Equips for Roshi, as well as the numerous Base Buffs Roshi receives from his Extreme Equip and his Team, the Pure Equips are more beneficial for Roshi.
