Overview
The high-energy Fighter, SP SSJ3 Kid Goku(GT) BLU is here to destroy the competition in record-breaking time. SSJ3 Kid Goku is a Fighter that excels in switching in and switching out as most of his buffs are restricted to 10 timer counts. He has 2x Card Arts Draw Speed when he enters the battlefield which will be great for stalling and farming a Rising Rush. He also has some sub-count manipulation which is also useful in PvP.
Strengths
High-Speed Fist
As mentioned above, SP SSJ3 Kid Goku(GT) BLUÂ specializes in high-speed encounters where he swaps in, does a long combo, and then immediately switches back out. This is due to the 10 timer count restriction on his Card Draw Speed increase and Damage buffs. Goku also ramps his damage up quite a bit as each card gives a 15% Damage inflicted increase for 3 timer counts while simultaneously increases his Ki Recovery and reduces his Arts Cost.Â
All of this synergizes incredibly well and Goku can prove to be a big threat in the right situation.
Sub Count Manipulation
Goku has multiple ways of reducing his allies’ sub count which goes well with how he’s supposed to be played. He can reduce sub-count via his Special Move, Extra Arts, and his Ultimate Arts. This can be done infinitely which will help you switch Goku in and out frequently.
Weaknesses
Only Good For 10 Counts
Goku is only good for 10 timer counts when he enters the battlefield. After that, he starts to fizzle out quickly and he won’t be effective anymore. As a last man stand Fighter, you might as well forfeit at that point as he will be ineffective.
Ki Issues
While Goku does have 2x Card Arts Draw Speed, he doesn’t have the Ki to fully utilize it as he gets no ki when he’s switched into the battlefield. He’ll need the help of Fighters that give Ki on switchout for him to utilize his 2x Card Arts Draw Speed.
Team Synergy
GT
Goku is the primary BLU Fighter for the GT team, replacing the all-powerful SP Eis Shenron BLU. Goku can initiate quick offense for the GT team as Fighters such as SP SSJ4 Goku PUR, SP Super 17 GRN, and SP Majuub YEL take some time to build up their Damage output.
Goku pairs incredibly well with SP Super 17 GRN due to the high number of Extra Arts S17 is able to generate for the team. Goku can abuse this with his AOE Extra Arts to gain priority on the opponent.Â
Saiyans
On the Saiyans team, Goku can be used to success alongside one of the best supports in the game, SP Vegeta YEL. SP Vegeta YEL gives 50 ki on switch-out which will tremendously help out Goku’s ability to abuse his 2x Card Arts Draw Speed. Even so, Goku would never be your number one choice as the BLU Fighter for Saiyans as SP Angry Goku BLU and SP Super Saiyan Blue Goku (Revived) BLU are far better options.
