EX Majin Buu: Good BLU is a rather intriguingly designed Fighter. He's a terrifyingly strong Regeneration Fighter with a brutal Offensive Strike-oriented Toolkit, but his kit is tailored made to synergize with Blue and Purple Fighters. He functions well on an optimal Regeneration set-up, even though using him on Regeneration compositions lowers the Team's overall Ability bonus. 

This fact, in tandem with his obscene scarcity, makes him a non-starter for many players. If these problems can be overcome, Buu truly exceeds expectations as an overwhelming Offensive Fighter, with numerous ways of Buffing his Damage and extending his deadly Combos.

He may have a lot of competition, but Players who desire an Offensively oriented Regeneration brawler and use him to that end will not be disappointed. 


Relentless Assault

All of EX Majin Buu: Good BLU's Abilities enhance his Damage. For starters, he Restores his Ki by 40 when he enters the battlefield, and he additionally Increases his Arts Card Draw Speed by 1 level for 10 Timer Counts.

For every Blue or Purple battle member fielded alongside him, he grants himself a +10% Damage Inflicted Buff for 10 Timer Counts. These Offensive aspects of him become staggering once he accrues more Buffs, which is acheived by landing Strike Arts hits.

He raises his Inflicted Damage and the entire Team's Critical Hit Rate by 10% for 15 Timer Counts per hit, which scales out of control very quickly and provides minor Support to his Allies. 

The Carnage Continues

Buu's Main Ability is a thing of beauty for an Offensive Fighter like him; it instantly Draws 4 new Cards, letting him keep up his Strike Damage assault, Increases his Inflicted Damage by +40% for a massive 45 Timer Counts, and even gradually Restores his Health for the same amount of time. 

When Buu is out of Strike Arts, but still has Ki to spend, activating this Ability almost always ensures a kill. 


Limited Application

For Buu to perform optimally, he requires a very specific Team comprised of Strike-oriented Blue and Purple Regeneration Fighters, which significantly limits his options on Teams.

He works well on dedicated Blue Color Counter Teams, but the potential of such a build is far lower than Regeneration Teams, which are arguably the strongest Tag Team in the game at the moment and can Support Buu from the bench. 

Defensively Wanting

This Buu variant is pure Offense, which is strong, but he has no Defensive utility to speak of. He possesses a gradual Health Restoration Buff via his Main Ability and a meager +10% Sustained Damage Cut Buff via his Extra Arts Card, but altogether, Buu's kit does not hold up to enemy fire. 

Team Synergy


EX Majin Buu: Good BLU is superb on this Team, as it provides him with ample strong Blue and Purple Teammates with which he can spread havoc.

SP Super Baby 2 BLU's Support power is instrumental for Buu, who requires some extra sustain to function Defensively. Baby's Offensive Support turns him into a complete demon, capable of finishing off even the most Defensive Fighters in a single Combo. 

The best purple to pair with the Majin is unquestionably SP Android #21: Evil PUR. She synergizes perfectly with his Strike-oriented style and can keep the momentum going by recovering Ki and Drawing Strike Cards on entrance.
