While he doesn’t do much for the Tag beyond increasing their numbers, he does gain access to some of their Equip options. Ideally, he’ll be slotting intoLineage of Evilas he’s the only Fighter in the Tag that is somewhat Defensive.
Regarding his toolkit, SP Metal Coora RED is an interesting Tank due to what he excels at and also what he lacks.
Going up against SP Metal Coora RED is like trying to run through quicksand; every time he’s switched in, Enemy Strike Card costs go up for 15 timer counts when they are used and the same goes for Blast Cards.
They also lose an Arts Card at random when he’s switched in due to his “Metal Body” Unique Ability and his Extra Move will force them to lose their entire hand.
This is essentially how he defends himself. He relies on killing Combo’s since his stats alone can’t withstand too many hits.
Lineage of Evil didn’t have access to a Team Heal, and SP Metal Coora RED gives them just that with his Main Ability. He also cancels allies' Attribute Downgrades and Abnormal Conditions to go along with it.
SP Metal Coora RED is a Defensive Fighter, but the majority of is toolkit is focused on Enemy Combat Debuffs.
This combined with average Defense stats and a self-Heal that only does 5% (compared to the self and Team-Healing of say, SP Zamasu RED) makes him a little less impressive than he first appeared.
Can’t Throw a Punch
His Offensive stats aren’t very high and neither are his Damage Buffs, making SP Metal Coora RED a bit of a weak link there too.
He only Buffs Blast Defense for Lineage of Evil initially, then Buffs Sagas Fighters Blast Defense when limit broken to 5 stars. Both of these Teams have a wealth of dual Z-Abilities and tend to be Offensive as well, making SP Metal Cooler RED hard to use as a bench as well.
Lineage of Evil
The release of SP Metal Coora RED finally gave Lineage of evil the color option they've been lacking since the Tag was first created, and he’s by far their strongest Defensive option.
Aside from his Z-Ability, SP Metal Coora RED doesn’t give or gain anything from this Team, but can be used as their primaryRed if he’s preferred over SP Fury Broly RED
Boosting both of his Offenses is a good idea as his Damage can feel lackluster at times, and it still comes with Strike Defense.
