Overview
I’ll Shatter Through My Limits In My Own Way! LL SP SSBE Vegeta YEL, the final evolution of Vegeta in Dragon Ball Super has made his way into the world of Dragon Ball Legends. There’s been some controversy and upset about his YEL typing as God-ki has LL SP SSB Gogeta YEL and Universe Survival Saga has SP T.O.P 17 YEL. Nevertheless, Vegeta is an incredible Fighter with huge Damage output and decent gimmicks to handle any opponent.
His main gimmick is the fact that he has “infinite-ki” as whenever he uses a card and falls below 35 ki, he gains 20 ki and some Damage inflicted which ramps up quite nicely.
Strengths
Final Flash
LL SP SSBE Vegeta YEL’s Special Move - “Final Flash” is similar to LL SP Goku Black PUR where he gains type neutral when using it. This allows him to deal serious Damage towards powerful RED Fighters such as SP SSJ2 Youth Gohan RED and SP Super Gogeta RED. He draws a Special Move Arts Card when he covers for the first time which ties into it very well.
It also seals an opponent’s Blast Arts for 5 timer counts which can prove to be useful when going against a Blast-oriented team.
Shattering Through Limits
LL SP SSBE Vegeta YEL has the new standard of 90% Damage inflicted once he enters the battlefield along with a 30% Damage reduction. Once Vegeta uses an Arts card and his ki falls on 35 or lower, he’ll receive 20 ki and 25% Damage Inflicted for 25 timer counts. This can be stacked infinitely and as such, Vegeta’s Damage can rival or outperform some of the best Fighters in the game. There are a few situations where you simply won’t have ki, but Vegeta will always have ki for the most part.
Vegeta, similarly to LL SP SSJ4 Gogeta GRN, has a mechanic where he punishes revival Fighters. Vegeta gets type neutral for 30 timer counts and he reduces the enemy’s Dragon Ball by 2 when he successfully eliminates a Fighter with revival. This makes Vegeta one of the best Fighters against Hybrid Saiyans and Sagas From The Movies because he can demolish LL SP Youth Gohan PUR easily and gain these buffs.
Weaknesses
Too Much Ki, Low Damage
If Vegeta swaps in with a lot of ki, that can hurt his combos as he needs to have as little ki as possible for him to ramp up his Damage to those absurd levels.
Defense Doesn't Add Up
Vegeta can have a 50% Damage reduction for 30 timer counts and a 70% Damage reduction on cover change but even then, he can’t take hits from top meta Fighters unless you star him up quite a bit.
Team Synergy
God Ki
Vegeta has stiff competition for the main YEL Fighter on the God-ki team as SP SSB Gogeta and Z7 SSG Vegeta YEL can make cases for why they should be used. Vegeta works well on God-ki as his Damage and survivability can get even better with SP Vados GRN (even though she’ll give him too much ki) and he has some powerful BLU Fighters to protect him such as SP SSB Goku BLU and SP SSB Goku(Revived) BLU.
Vegeta will mainly serve as a Damage dealer on this team and he can do his job incredibly well.
Universal Survival Saga
Similar to God-ki, Vegeta has competition for the main YEL Fighter on the USS team due to SP T.O.P 17 YEL being one of the better Fighters in the game with his on-field oppressiveness. Vegeta blows 17 out of the water when it comes to the Damage department and it’s not even close but that’s all he provides for this team when other Fighters can do that as well.
Even so, Vegeta is a great addition to the team and is the premier Fighter to bring against any team with a revival Fighter.
Vegeta Family
Vegeta is the best YEL Fighter for the Vegeta Family team as SP Vegeta YEL isn’t optimal on this team like how he is on the Saiyan team. Sadly, Vegeta adds to Vegeta Family what they already have, Damage. LL SP Vegeta BLU and SP SSB Vegeta PUR along with SSBE Vegeta is an incredibly powerful offensive setup that will tear through the top meta teams with ease.
