This Fighter is almost entirely Crisis related, excelling the most when his Teammates are down. While that can make for some clutch moments, this mechanic is very situational and as a result, SP SSJ2 Vegeta PUR suffers from a lack of Damage output.
He does have a few more tricks up his sleeve to Support Teammates but have him do a surprising amount of Damage before it gets to that point, however.
His Main Ability does two very important things. The first being that he Restores his Health by 20%. This is important if he intends to get to the portion of the game where he’s at his strongest – as the last man alive.
Maybe more important than that is the fact that he draws a Special Move Arts Card and automatically increases its Damage by 80%. This is the most notable thing in his toolkit that allows him to pack a punch he wouldn’t have otherwise.
Color Counter Z-Ability
SP SSJ2 Vegeta PUR has one of the few Color-counter based Z-Ability. In fact, when maxed, his Z-Ability Boosts both Purple and Red’s Strike Attack by a whopping amount. This is huge because Purple Color Counter has some awesome Fighters that really benefit from this incredible Offensive Boost.
While CrisisUnique Abilities are not bad normally, however the story is different when Fighters rely solely on those to be great. In fact, SP SSJ2 Vegeta PUR is a liability in PVP when his Crisis is off, and it’s not even assured that it’ll activate. In fact, experienced players know how much stronger this Fighter can get thanks to that, so they’d try to pulverize him on sight, before he has access to his Boost.
His AssistUnique Ability Boosts two incompatible Tags, namely Saiyans and Hybrid Saiyans. The idea here is clearly that to have a Fighter that can Buff those Tags on a Purple-Color Counter. While this is the only conceivable way to fully take advantage of his Supportive Ability, it forces to create very specific Team Builds that may not translate in a good Team.
Purple Color Counter
If he’s limit broken to 5 stars, he makes an excellent bench Fighter for a Purple Color Counter Team.
This gives a Boost to both Offensive stats, and he needs all the help he can get there.

Reduces damage received by 50% for 10 timer counts. When this character enters the battlefield, +20% to own Ki Recovery per defeated "Character: Bulma" or "Tag: Vegeta Family".
Deals major Impact damage. Inflicts enemy with Attribute Downgrade "+20% to Blast Damage Received" for 20 timer counts on hit.
Blast damage inflicted by allies increases based on the number of defeated battle members. 0: +15% to Blast damage for 30 timer counts. 1: +25% to Blast damage for 25 timer counts. 2: +40% to Blast damage for 20 timer counts.
His base stats aren’t impressive and he requires his Teammates to start dying before he packs a punch himself. Even his Z-Ability is outmatched by other Purple Fighters who can Buff multiple stats, where he only Buffs Strike Attack.
