It’s been quite the journey for SP Piccolo GRN. Once considered a necessity for any Team no matter the Tags, to falling off so harshly due to power creep that he saw almost no play, to now being one of the best Zenkais we've gotten in 2022.

With his Zenkai Awakening, they've made his offenses vastly better than what they were even during his prime from June to July 2018.

Unfortunately for SP Piccolo GRN, Regeneration is stacked regarding GRN Fighters. They have SP Majin Buu:Good GRN, SP Zamasu and Goku Black (Assist) GRN and SP Gohan: Piccolo Assist GRN.


Team Healing

Even when he had fallen off a bit, his Main Ability was still great and game-changing. Now that he has the stats and toolkit to go along with it, it’s better than ever.

The 25% Heal to all Teammates as well as removal of any Attribute Downgrades and Abnormal Conditions is one of the most powerful comeback mechanics currently in Dragon Ball Legends. This lets him function as a Defensive Fighter and a Healer, a golden combination. 

Piccolo's Sustained Damage Cut effect on Cover in tandem with this is what makes him so annoying to play against, as the meager Damage he takes when changing Cover can be Healed off instantly. 


His Anti-Saiyan Unique Ability is also back and better than ever with a whopping 50% extra Blast Damage inflicted against the Saiyan Tag. This gives him match-up utility against a very common Tag. 

Decent Tank

Any Team without a Purple Fighter will have a hard time taking SP Piccolo GRN down, as he now boasts some of the highest Health, Strike Defense and Attack stats in the entire game with a Cover that reduces Damage by 50% to top it all off.

Good Offense

As mentioned in the Overview, SP Piccolo GRN can now deal good Damage to enemy Fighters with his improved offensive multipliers and stats. Against Saiyan Fighters, Piccolo can get up to 130% Blast Damage Inflicted which rivals most Fighters released today. Against non-Saiyan Fighters, he gets 80% Damage inflicted which isn't that great but for a Fighter that's a "tank", it's pretty decent.
Regen also has some of the best offensive equipment in the game which can bolster his Blast Damage to great heights.


Tough competition

As mentioned in the Overview, SP Piccolo GRN has some stiff competition for the best GRN Fighter for the Regeneration team and it boils down to preference for most Regeneration players.

Team Synergy


SP Piccolo GRN can be used on this Tag in place of many of it's strong Green options if those Fighters are unavailable. He functions well with his alter ego, SP Piccolo YEL, as they're both Blast-oriented Fighters. 

Saiyan Saga (Z)

SP Piccolo GRN is by no means Core-worthy on this Tag, but he can be used on it. Sadly only  SP Piccolo YEL is a Blast-oriented Fighter on this team so he doesn't mesh well with SP LL Great Ape Vegeta RED and SP Nappa BLU as they're dominantly Strike-based Fighters.
