Tier EX

Koyanskaya, everyone's favorite NFF sales representative, finally joins the roster, elevating the Buster meta to new heights in the process of doing so. She notably has a targetable 50% NP Charge skill that also reduces skill cooldowns for the target by 2, unlocking a Servant's ability to stack skills that are on shorter cooldowns where it would not be possible prior. She also has a sizable Buster buff that increases Crit and Star Gather for an ally, a +20 crit star drop, and the ability to provide bonus damage against both Human attribute and Human traits. An interesting but slightly more difficult-to-use effect of hers is her buff that grants extra NP Gauge when an ally uses Buster Cards, which in practice can be unreliable due to being dependent on Card draws. To top everything off, she is one of the first Support Servants who also has a damage dealing AoE Buster NP, making her a decent utilizer of her own supportive capacity. Her NP gives her a minor ATK buff for herself before damage, can drain enemy NP Gauge to support stalling, and also provides a small amount of NP Gauge to all allies. Her main demerits are the fact that her NP charge skill decreases HP for all allies by a small amount, and that she has no defensive skills to her name, so she will need to rely on other supports for any defensive measures. However, in most cases, any enemies will be long decimated before those demerits pose an issue. With double Koyanskaya, Buster damage dealers finally join the ranks of being able to loop their NP, with the added bonus of their looping capability no longer being dependent on NP refund.

Tier EX

The King of Faeries joins the roster as the first Pretender Class Servant. He is an extremely potent Support Servant, with a slight favor towards Buster damage support, and a damaging AoE Buster NP of his own. His kit introduces the new NP Boost effect, which essentially works as a non-stackable, multiplicative augmentation to any existing NP damage buffs active on a Servant, which also can include bonuses from Craft Essences (such as The Black Grail), while also giving a sizable Buster buff. However, the skill providing this buff comes with a substantial demerit that essentially permanently disables the Servant the next turn, making this pretty much a skill used only to deal a finishing blow and end a quest, which makes it useful to clear the final 3rd wave of farming quests. His other two skills also provide up to 70% (!) NP Gauge to a single ally, and 20% to all other allies including himself, making his kit capable of the highest targetable NP charge to date on his release. The targeted NP charge does come with a demerit of decreasing NP Gauge for the target by 20% on the next turn, reducing any benefits from NP refund, although this becomes less of a problem when used on the last wave or if the target uses a Buster NP that does not come with a refund. He also provides his own NP Damage buff and a small sum of Critical Stars to help support the offensive performance of his allies. Finally, regarding his NP itself: it removes offensive buffs, inflicts sleep for a turn, deals bonus damage against Lawful alignment, and has a rather interesting, if slightly undesirable effect of also giving Invincibility to all enemies that it hits for a turn. It is also worth noting that Oberon has a passive that makes Merlin's buffs miss 20% of the time while Oberon is on the field, so mixing the two might not be a good idea. Despite having certain shortcomings in his kit, in practice, they can often be circumvented simply by the fact he makes a damage dealer dish out so much damage that the final wave gets killed before any of his demerits can pose an issue. For those graced with the Fairy King's presence in their Chaldea, Masters can look forward to putting even the most fearsome of enemy waves into a deep slumber.

Tier A+

The little spinster Faerie, ally to all brides, is an AoE Arts Rider with a largely supportive skill set focused on providing defensive enhancement particularly to female allies. One of the most notable abilities Habetrot touts is their ability to self sacrifice, removing themselves from the field a turn after using their third skill. Since they also have an AoE damage-dealing NP, this means they can help clear a smaller wave before self sacrificing to make way for additional Servants from the back line. Combined with their own hefty 80% NP Charge skill, they provide this service with ease and can slot in comfortably in many teams as a sacrificial first-wave clearer. Additionally, she works perfectly well in the role of an NP looper as well, although her damage may be on the lower side. Support-wise, she can provide a turn of debuff immunity, increased star drop rate, and a minor heal to an ally. For female allies, she also provides a turn of invincibility, Guts, removal of ailment debuffs, and HP regeneration for 5 turns. Their NP also notably generates a healthy sum of Stars, which can help Servants dish out critical hits in the next wave. For her own offensive performance, Habetrot has a modest Arts buff that comes with her NP charge skill, and her NP ignores DEF while also gaining an NP damage buff before dealing damage. Habetrot is a helpful addition to any Master's roster, capable of performing a similar role as Arash without the requirement of as much NP charge from external sources, in exchange for higher Cost. Masters in need of a quick wave clearer for weaker waves, particularly against Casters, should remember to bring Habetrot along!
