Akihabara Explosion - Walkthrough

Introduction

  • Venture to the city of dreams in the Akihabara Explosion event! This event is similar to the Amazones / Pagoda climb event, featuring three towers (first two with 50 floors, the last with 100 floors). This event has no farming involved.
  • The Exhaustion mechanic makes its return! Servants will become Exhausted after doing a tower quest, and will be unable to participate for a period of time until they recover.
    • Base Recovery: 6 Hours
  • Recovery can be sped up by placing Servants in Relaxation Facilities:
    • No Facility Affinity: Recovery speed is 200% of base (6 -> 3 hours).
    • Facility Affinity: Recovery speed is 300% of base (6 -> 2 hours).
  • There are no time gates for this event. However, depending on the size of your roster, progress can be limited by the exhaustion mechanic as well. Try to pace yourself and complete a few quests every day to avoid becoming unable to finish the event!

General Tips

  • Generally, enemies are in only one or two waves, so bringing a strong AoE Servant with Class Advantage and some starting NP Gauge CEs/Support can make quick work of most quests. The rest of the lineup can be filled as desired for bond EXP or with whatever is minimally required to clear the quest.
  • Save the stronger ST Servants for the boss encounters, which tend to happen every 10 floors for the larger encounters (a miniboss is present every 5 floors generally).
  • Galatea will gain a +100% damage boost and bonus +50% Bond EXP during event quests! In addition, she has increased +200% recovery time when placed in relaxation facilities!
  • Event Bonus CEs will grant various bonuses. The event reward CE provides Bond EXP bonuses to equipped Servants; all Gacha CEs provide a damage boost to Servants of various rarities depending on the CE.
Walkthrough - TL;DR

The below is a summary of the general flow of the event. In general, this event is very straightforward, where each tower quest must be completed in order. The difficulty is in managing Servants available for quests as they progressively become exhausted from participating in tower quests. The detailed walkthrough provides information about enemy encounters and gimmicks for each quest.

The overall flow is Main Quests > Tower Quests > Back-Alley Akiba Quests > repeat, with time gates between individual Main Quest chapters.

Walkthrough (Each day):

1) Complete Main Quests available.

2) Clear Wishmen Card (Shopping) Quests 1-50F.

3) Clear Back-Alley AKIBA Quests as they unlock.

4) Complete Main Quests available.

5) Clear Convention Tower Quests 1-50F.

6) Complete Main Quest Epilogue. Holy Grail unlocks here!

7) Clear Meat Tower Quests 1-100F. These are optional, although for completionists, this tower has Rare Prisms (x3) and 4* Fous (3x HP + 3x ATK), so it's worth doing if time allows!

Three waves, each with special gimmicks.
Wave 1: A Rider (121k HP) starts with 11 Guts stacks, while an Assassin (101k HP) if kept alive, slowly removes one Guts stack every turn.
Wave 2: A break bar MoonCancer (120k, 140k HP) and a Caster (99k HP). The MoonCancer starts with 30% chance of Invincible (10 times), and has a skill that charges all allies' NP Gauge (except self) by 2.
They can also grant evade to all allies except self.
On break, the MoonCancer will summon a Rider (130k HP) with no other special effects.
Wave 3: A break bar Assassin (207k, 304k HP) and a Caster (70k HP).
The Assassin gains a huge ATK buff and Ignore Invincibility while the Caster is on the field, and will resummon the Caster if they are defeated.
The Caster can inflict Charm with normal attacks.
On break, the Assassin charges NP by 1 and restores 5,000 HP for all allies.

  • No. There are no items to farm for this event, and the primary limiter is not AP, but is instead the Exhaustion mechanic.
  • Make sure to start early and try to do a few quests every day! If waiting until the last day, it's possible to run out of Servants and become unable to finish the event / obtain the Holy Grail.
